"LOVED this place! It is a hidden gem! Ordered the dinner special that came with choice of 4 sides from the line, hot water cornbread, soup or salad. Worth the $20!!!! Everything ordered was perfectly seasoned and filling! Hearing the history of this place and favorite dishes from regulars that visited every week was also an added bonus! Can’t wait to come back!"

"I would not recommend this restaurant at all. They make mistakes and refuse to take responsibility for them. I ordered a turkey burger with turkey bacon for a coworker with a pork allergy, but they served it with pork bacon and the burger was raw. When I asked for a credit due to being unable to drive back to the restaurant, I was told to retrieve the burger from the trash and bring it back. Despite tipping extra to ensure accuracy, the order was still incorrect. The restaurant blamed me for throwing away the burger and I ended up losing money on the order and tip. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere."

"We have been loyal customers for 2 years. We gave this place a try on a whim and weve never looked back. Yesterday we ordered through Slice for delivery and the order was cancelled due to no drivers. We love Franks and we called and asked if we could pick up instead. The order was made and no issues when pickup. Today I received a call I did not expect and it was a personal call from manager expressing his apologies for not having a driver. He was not feeling well so he was not there and the driver on staff decided to leave early. He assured me that shouldn’t have happened and personally apologized for the inconvenience and hoped that we would continue to purchase from them! I assured him we loved franks and would continue seeing them. Things happen and running a business is not linear so we understand when things go wrong! Weve ordered so many times and never had an issue and the one time that there was a minor inconvenience a personal call was not expected but sure was appreciated. As we didn’t love franks enough, now more! Thank you!!"

"We just got back home from a ridiculously horrid experience thanks to an unprofessional manager on duty named Cara. We picked up an expensive order from a nearby restaurant which included a free sundae for Teacher Appreciation Week, and decided to stop at this Panera to pickup a complimentary drink as part of the drink promo. We literally waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes thanks to the poorly designed drive through which prevents cars from driving out of the drive in the event that a customer changes their mind or there is an emergency. What angered us is that the car in front of us held up the line for 20 of that 45 minutes but that customer should have been instructed to pull up to a holding space until their order was brought to them. When we finally reached the pickup window, we asked for a manager and that was Cara who needs to be fired for incompetency! She lied and said she did not have staff to take orders to cars, yet we witnessed a worker who did just that for another customer who pulled to a wait space. We showed her the melted sundae and advised that our food was cold but she did not care, only saying there is nothing I can do She kept asking what I wanted and when I advised her to compensate me for my food order from the other restaurant, she said, again, she is not responsible for orders from someplace else. Why ask me? Furthermore, we tried calling twice to ask that they instruct the other customer in front of us to pull up but they never answered the phone. I was so mad, I left without the drink and thinking I will never return! Awful manager! Awful decision on Panera's part to hire Cara who is incapable of making common sense decisions."

"My husband and I decided to try this place because it had decent reviews and it’s not far from home. It was our first and last time here. We were seated immediately but it took a long time for anyone to offer coffee and it took even longer for our food to arrive. I had the chicken fried chicken which was literally just a plain fried chicken breast without breading and I had to ask for the gravy for it. My husband ordered the bacon waffle and it was pretty much a rock hard frisbee with one slice of bacon thrown on top of it for about $13. You’re given plastic utensils and he almost broke his knife and fork trying to cut into it. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Make the drive into Oak Lawn to Golden Bear, Huck Finn, or the Original Pancake House because this place was disappointing!"
