"This is a quaint and busy cafe, and I was hoping to give it five stars, but was a little disappointed. The wait staff were all friendly, despite how busy they were. We were seated on the back porch area, which initially was great, but then we did have trouble with some bothersome flies. My seat seemed a little sticky and seemed to keep me put when I tried to adjust in my seat. But what really affected my review was the food. It looked fabulous. I had a grilled chicken Caesar wrap with fries. While it was loaded up with chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato, I didn’t taste any Parmesan cheese or the Caesar dressing. I felt like they forgot it. Had a waiter checked on us to ask how everything was, I would have asked for a side of Caesar dressing, but she was busy. She did see my soda was low and brought another, but whisked away to another table. The French fries were lightly seasoned and tasty. I would come back and give this another try, but this experience was just a three star experience."

I enjoy their large portioned meals and services is pretty fast they work in a team fashion. Though they are always full it never takes too long to sit down.

Every time we visit, the food is incredible. Undoubtedly the best burgers and onion rings around! My son ordered the enchiladas, and he said they were fantastic as well! This place is a hidden gem. Be ready to wait for a table, but it's definitely worth it!

Honestly the only reason for the 4 stars was the waiting period for the food. Other than that the food was amazing, great little place in old town CG. Whether you live in CG or driving by this must be a must stop. Their pancakes are amazing!!! Will definitely be returning.

I love their food. Sausage was pink. Still really great service and food. Could ask if the customers are satisfied after you bring out food, which would have fixed this most likely. First visit burned French toast. I think they just overlooked? Perhaps chef needs a thermometer?? Ver carta

Honestly, the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is the wait time for the food. However, everything else was fantastic. It’s a charming little spot in the old town of CG. Whether you live in CG or are just passing through, it’s a place you have to visit. Their pancakes are incredible! I will definitely be back.

It's good food and i liked their iced coffees but would've preferred more egg in my French toast but I loved the compote that went with it. It's a busy place so expect a bit of a wait, but take the time to walk around and it won't feel long at all. We got the cereal crusted french toast, the sweet cream and hazelnut iced coffees, the chilaquiles, and their posole and bread. The Mexican bread is extremely salty but goes well with the posole if you put enough on it. I would go back to try more on their menu.

Portion size is legit. Service was good. Flavor was bland/ lacking big time for me and my family. We also had expected a good buttermilk or sourdough pancake. Surprised it had cornmeal in it (we weren 't fans of that . Don 't know if we would ever go back. Had it not been for fresh food, large portions, and the service I would have done 1 star. We like lots of flavor and it just didn 't have any (and that 's after asking for salt, pepper, and salsa . If you like Midwestern style food it will probably be a great spot for you. Ver carta

The food was outstanding! We tried “The Farmboy,” which includes country-fried steak, potatoes, eggs, and sausage, served with your choice of toast. The bread had just the right amount of crunch, even though it was generously slathered with gravy. The meat was tender and easy to chew, while the baked potatoes were cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were huge, so I had to take half of my meal home! This place is by far the best restaurant in Casa Grande! It gets busy, so I recommend arriving early and being prepared to wait about 20 minutes. But trust me, it’s totally worth it!

Many of their breakfast dishes are unique and delicious. But biscuits and gravy is not their forte. It is advertised as biscuits and sausage gravy. When I explained to the staff there was no sausage in the gravy she stated it was made with sausage grease and that made it sausage gravy. I then tried to explain it had no taste of sausage and therefore doubted it was made with sausage grease. It tasted like plain white/milk gravy. So I recommend you stay away from biscuits and sausage gravy here but there are so many other breakfast dishes that are unique, delicious and have large portions. Try one of them.

"After hearing much about this place from a coworker, I decided to celebrate my Step Dad here today for lunch. On 1st impressions, the place is kinda small for the amount of people they seem to get. The entrance is a bit of a problem: soon as you open the door you 're faced with a greeting counter where people might already be getting checked out, which then forces anyone trying to come in to have to wait outside with the door open as to not obstruct the already tiny and high trafficked hallway to the second eating area. Now, for the food:My step dad tried the Coctel Maleficio, I picked up the Chilaquiles Mixtos (Red Green) and the Wifey got the Carne Asada Torta. The presentation of the Maleficio was FLAWLESS. Definitely know what their doing there and since my step dad made it disappear, I figured he thoroughly enjoyed it.The Chilaquiles arrive late to the party. And I mean LATE.Everyone at the table received their food at the same time... except me.It was about another 20 minutes easily before I received my food, which I get it, the place only got busier since the moment we arrived.Anyhow, when they did arrive, let 's just the wait was worth it. My personal favorite were the Red Chilaquiles which surprised me with the Spice kick. Now, The Carne Asada Torta:On first glance it looked appealing... and then I heard it ...the bread is really hard. I wish that was all the negative about it but then ...and the meat is also quite tough to bite into... followed. Our server was helpful and accommodating, if anything, they honestly seem to have quite a few too many people behind the desk either just chatting or standing around.Good food but definitely on the pricey side of things."
