"This place has a really cool concept: retro, gamer, collector vibes with a modern touch. They have collectible cards and figurines on the walls along with free arcade games (Pac Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). The coffee is really good and they don't upcharge it compared to normal coffee shops. I got the honey lavender latte. It was a little too creamy, but wonderfully made and I really enjoyed it. The staff are also really nice and pretty quick. Wish I lived around here so I could come here and work or study. I'm not from the area but wasn't hard to find parking. Not sure if the parking is considered street or plaza... as it's in front of the civic center."

Black sesame latte!!! Mild sweet, nutty flavor. Try if you like different variations in your lattes

Good vibe for social inside which is surprising for a quiet location. They even have games inside. They also have black sesame latte which is a must try item for me. Got it cold with no ice and I could taste the sesame powder in the texture. It's not bad. Service could be a bit more casual and friendly.

I hesitate to share how wonderful this little neighborhood gem is—the coffee is fantastic, the interior is charming (though a bit small), and the baristas are incredibly friendly. I really want to keep this locally-owned place to myself because it truly deserves recognition. Ugh, I’m so torn! Please visit, but just not when I’m around! Ver carta

This place is super cute inside. It's in a small plaza area with some other restaurants, but is a little hidden. They have several tables and seats and couches inside and also some puzzles inside. There is a couple tables outdoors as well! I got the black sesame latte. I think black sesame lattes are hard because it sometimes gets powdery as it settles and then isn't as smooth going down. It was quite tasty though and I loved the little heart they made on my latte! Prices were the same as anywhere else in the bay area. : I would come again!

"To say I am disappointed will be an understatement. After waiting for 1 hr 25 minutes for a patio seat, I finally got in. I was with a party of four people, which the restaurant people knew from the very beginning but still they made us sit in a small table which could barely accommodate plates glasses along with the grill. That’s a big negative for me from the get-go. The server, he was in such a rush that we could barely understand what he was saying. Now the food, which we got after a long wait. It was utterly disappointing. There were no flavors in the meat. They were bland and super boring. Even the miso soup was yuck. It’s a tapas style restaurant, so you are looking at really really small portions of meat. We tried the set menu for two people, which was not enough at all. We had to order extra portions of meat. Basic things were missing in this restaurant. I don’t know why people gave such high reviews about this place. Food was served, but there was no chopsticks/spoon or anything. When I asked a server, how do I drink the miso soup he says in Japan people drink it from the bowl. HELLO we are not in Japan so that was a very stupid answer which I got. Asked for four spoons got only one. Multiple reminders had to be given to the server for plates and tissues, etc.. The ambience to be honest sucks in this restaurant. Inside was so noisy and claustrophobic with people speaking on the top of their voice it will give a headache to anybody. Outside was dirty. The heaters were not enough and the service was pathetic. Dave your money go somewhere else. Skip this place!! Parking: Parking is terrible, specially in weekend. Good luck finding space to park"
