"I 've been to BLT Burger, and my friend had been to BLT Prime and Fish, so we weren 't stranger to the brand. I had come once before for drinks at the bar but not the food so we decided to try it for the restaurant week menu. The oysters were delicious and my duck was cooked perfectly. The lightly spiced panna cotta was smooth and creamy. (my friend 's tiramisu was a rather cold (made it feel like it just came from the freezer All in all, the food was much better than what you 'd expect for a bar and grill but on par with the rest of the BLT brand. I would come again. Side Note: The table we sat at though didn 't feel very secure and was a little wobbly but we 're adaptable and made sure not to lean on it. That 's really the only negative about it."

Due to bad weather our party of five was reduced to three, who were late in gathering. The waiter was wonderful. the food was very good.

Took Wall St. area clients to BLT for breakfast great food and service, good atmosphere. Biggest drawback takes a tiny bit of effort to get there because of all the WTC construction, but once there, worth the trip.

Got the beet soup, steak sandwich and tiramasu. Beet soup was good. Steak sandwich was overwhelmed with bbq sauce too much. Tiramasu was good. Service was excellent and attentive. For the financial district it was good. Definately would order something else.

The food at E squared establishments is always great, but I was disappointed with my experience at their Sunday brunch for my birthday. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the waiter was hard to find. We were not told ahead of time that we would not be seated upstairs. Some menu items were unavailable due to missing ingredients. I was also overcharged for wine. The service improved when a new waiter took over. The lack of ambiance and poor service made for a disappointing birthday brunch. Ver carta

This is my 5th time here. The other 4 times had been fabulous. Other than the wonderful tiramisu, everything else was off . LONG wait for dinner, next table complained about his cold steak which was replaced, the normally wonderful popovers were over baked and took forever to arrive, food was meh . My hot plate had obviously sat under a warmer but food just warm. Seriously, this place has been fantastic on all my previous visits. Service was pleasant but not as great as before. I hope this eve was an aberration.

BLT Bar and Grill in the W Hotel is the perfect spot for a business lunch in the financial district. The setting is modern and casual, and food is excellent, fresh and nicely presented. There is a wide variety of items on the menu, sure to please everyone in your party, including meat, seafood, pizza, pasta and vegetarian dishes and an array of healthy salads (the baby artichoke salad and roasted cauliflower salad are great! . Desserts are also wonderful including a delicious gluten free chocolate cake with sea salt caramel ice-cream.

I highly recommend ordering the salmon burger at this restaurant. It is truly fabulous. The fries are also delicious. While the prices may be a bit high, the ambiance is lively and inviting. I suggest asking to be seated upstairs, as it is much nicer than the downstairs area. It may be time for a little renovation on the lower level. I frequent this restaurant twice a month, as I work in the neighborhood. The food is consistently good and the service is top-notch. Additionally, the crystal teardrops hanging outside the second floor elevator are a beautiful sight, especially when the LED lights change colors. Ver carta

At dinner, instead of bread, BLT serves these enormous popovers, hot from the oven and they are worth coming for they are light, airy and fabulous with butter. The food at BLT is generally good the salmon burger is wonderful and so are the fries. When the food gets a little fancier, sometimes it's hit or miss, but I haven't had a bad meal here and the staff is warm and welcoming. (The vodka martini was merely perfect! Take the elevator to the second floor because the hallway is strung with the most beautiful glass bulbs hanging from the ceiling that change color. It's like walking through a waterfall overhead.

BLT exceeds expectations in every way. The service was welcoming, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived until we left. My daughter ordered the salmon and finished every bite before I could even try it - it was cooked perfectly. I opted for the grilled shrimp, which were seasoned just right with a perfect mix of spice and salt. The grapefruit salad that came with it complemented the shrimp wonderfully. However, the standout of the meal was the foldover bread that was served at the beginning. It was like an egg soufflé with a delicate and delicious crust. I would go back just to share it with others.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
