They now charge you 12% to order food here. That's ridiculous. Plus they want a tip on top of the 12%. Prices are already insanely high. Go somewhere else.

Terrible. Brisket tasted like a roast from a crockpot- no smoke flavor at all. The BBQ salad was half soup with a layer liquid covering the bottom of the bowl. when you order at the bar you are prompted to give a tip but no one ever comes to check and see if you like the meal. There are far better places to eat in Jerome- don't waste your money.

Great service from Bonnie who described the sauces expertly and enthusiastically! Atmosphere is sunny, warm and aroma delights! Onion rings are perfect and prickly pear mock tail refreshes! Barbecue is good, snd sauces are very good. Cornbread is sweet andcake like and beans have shredded pork. Clean restrooms and friendly staff added to a wonderful experience.

In search of a local attraction to check out near Sedona, we ended up in Jerome by chance. The smell of the oven smoke was so nostalgic to me and I loved eating there for lunch. I am not typically a pork eater, but the food was delicious and the staffwas very friendly. I highly recommend this place to eat to Jerome visitors. It was enough for the two of us to share a plate.

We dined here after exploring the town of Jerome, and the inviting aroma wafting from the restaurant drew us in. Although the interior is on the smaller side, there is a much larger seating area in the back. We placed our order at the bar, and our food arrived fairly quickly. I opted for a beer served in a mason jar, which I thought was a nice touch. The chicken wings were smoky and absolutely delicious! They came with ranch and barbecue sauce, and were perfectly spiced with a flavorful dry rub. Service was terrible. Food was okay at best. The servers were more concerned about hitting their vape than providing customer service. The server was terrible. After ordering from the bar and watching food come out with confusion for every table we finally got our tray. The vapid server mumbled something and stating that she would be back with the house bbq sauces, after 15 minutes I took the sauce bottles from a table that left. Then I had to engage the other server who was hitting the vape and ask to bring out the rest of our order. The restaurant was not busy and it was in between rush hours. My wife, an out of town friend and I stopped by Bobby D 's for lunch on 4/24/2024. This has always been our go-to place whenever we visited Jerome with friends. Sadly, this diner has deteriorated big time since the last time we visited. Table-side service is no longer available. One has to order at the counter and food is then brought to the table. Upon ordering a service charge is added which really amounts to an imposed tip. We ordered the Arizona Cheese Steak meal for $18. It had a couple of small brisket pieces (with a fair amount of fat), sautéed onions and peppers that were hardly visible. No side included. Popped into Bobby D's while on a day-trip to Jerome. Just like almost every place in Jerome, it's a hodgepodge of rooms with uneven flooring and fixtures that have likely been in place for a century, but they do have fun (if not rickety) patio from which you can observe the comings and goings of the colorful locals and tourists. We ordered a couple of AZ beers on draft as well as the BBQ Burger and Brisket Sandwich. Neither comes WITH a side, so be sure to add those on if you want them.
