"This was my third visit to Louie's, and once again, dinner was perfect, just like the last two times. From my experience, many restaurants in the Poconos are more casual and less refined compared to those in New York City. However, if you're seeking a fine dining experience in an environment that isn't too formal or stuffy, I highly recommend Louie's (my other favorite would be Windsor at Skytop). The steaks here are outstanding, and the Chicken Florentine, which is stuffed with spinach and cheese, was absolutely delicious! The full bar adds to the atmosphere, with happy patrons enjoying themselves, laughing, and sharing stories. I can't wait to return next time—I really hope this place remains open forever!"

"Absolutely wonderful! The food was incredible and the portions were large but not too much. It was a tiny bit on the pricey side but it was worth it— the specialty lattes were to die for and the scrapple was homemade and likely deep fried (10/10! Our server is on the receipt as “Nicole 31” and she was the sweetest ever, she was absolutely incredible and so kind to us. We are travelers from Massachusetts and compared to diners up there, this place is at least 10 times better. We were also quite big fans of the “grumpy decor” on the walls— you’ll see it when you get there. It’s hilarious."

"If you're in the mood for an overflowing cup of sour cream served on a basic dish of chicken and rice, then this is the place for you. Alternatively, if that doesn't appeal to you, how about a salad drenched in Capri Sun? Look no further than the world-renowned Nick's Lakehouse, which also features a baffling gift shop designed to create a lasting memory of sheer incompetence that is truly astonishing. Instead of sports broadcasts, you’ll find CSPAN playing—let that sink in. They struggled to meet any requests, such as ordering sparkling water, appetizers, or entrees—basically, the everyday things you expect at restaurants around the world. The server blamed the young staff for the issues before hurriedly disappearing. It was certainly an experience, but hardly a culinary one."

"A Hidden Gem in Lake Harmony! Terra Cottage Cafe managed to steal our hearts during a recent visit for my husband 's birthday celebration . This quaint little restaurant cafe, albeit small, offers a cozy and charming ambiance that you can 't help but fall in love with. Be sure to arrive early to beat the crowds due to the limited space. The service was nothing short of exceptional, and they truly went above and beyond to make our celebration special . We indulged in the sinfully delicious Oreo hot chocolate and savored every bite of our breakfast, which included the delectably sweet cream pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, savory Turkey sausage, and hearty potatoes . Don 't miss a visit to their small boutique; I snagged a cute shirt that reads Be the Light . Every moment at Terra Cottage Cafe was splendid, and I 'd gladly travel three hours to relive the experience . "We visited the restaurant for dinner and had a pleasant experience with our friendly server. We enjoyed the lamb appetizer, which was a highlight. However, the rest of the meal did not live up to our expectations. I ordered the linguine special, which featured a mix of seafood that was unfortunately overcooked. Additionally, there was ground beef in the dish, a choice that confused both me and my dining companions. When the bill arrived, I was shocked to see that the entrée cost $39. While I understand this is a tourist area, we typically pay much less for a nice dinner in Philadelphia, where the food quality is significantly better. To make matters worse, our soups and salads arrived at the same time as the main courses. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering the high price."
