I hired Brendel's for catering on the morning of my wedding and the following day, and I couldn't be happier with their service. They were incredibly easy to work with and delivered right on time. The bagels, baked goods, and fruit were all fresh and delicious, and my guests were thrilled. I would absolutely order from them again!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a wide variety of menu options, but the service and order organization leave much to be desired. Despite not being overly busy and having a large staff, it took 15 minutes for them to recognize us and take our order for a simple egg sandwich, and then another 15 minutes to actually receive it.

As someone from Brooklyn, I can say that the bagels here are just okay – not great, but not terrible either. If you’re in search of an outstanding bagel, though, Brendel’s isn’t the place for you. To make things worse, the fresh-squeezed orange juice tasted watered down, which was really disappointing given the high price. The last time I ordered from here, everything went smoothly and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, this time they completely forgot one item from my order. I ordered an Individual Brendel's Bagel with cream cheese, but it was missing. That was the item I really wanted, so I had to reorder it and pay extra just to get what I originally asked for. Please make sure to pay more attention to completing orders accurately. Thank you!

I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. First, I expected a delicious, fresh bagel on a Sunday, but that was not the case. Second, I ordered a grilled chicken pumpernickel bagel, and that's exactly what I received—plain and without any condiments. Third, I paid extra for avocado, but there was none included. Fourth, I requested a Greek salad and ended up with a macaroni salad instead. On a positive note, the pickle was excellent.

On July 6, 2023, I visited this restaurant and ordered a wrap along with two panini sandwiches. After a 25-minute wait, the staff member who took my order informed me that they were out of panini bread, despite my seeing other employees preparing multiple panini sandwiches. There was no line at the time, and sandwiches were actively being made. If they were truly out of bread, she should have notified me immediately. I ended up leaving in frustration. They really need to improve their communication and service. Ver carta
