The restaurant was bustling with activity that night, with two weddings and many other diners. Despite having a reservation for 5:15, we didn't finish eating until 7:30. Our waitress was charming, but she seemed overwhelmed by the number of tables she had to serve, especially those with large groups. Ver carta

The food was delicious, but the service was awful. Our server clearly needed more training. She messed up one out of three orders, was slow to check on us, and it was difficult to get water refills. Paying the bill was a difficult process; she even walked away with our credit card to another register to ring up another order. It was a lovely day to dine outside, but we left feeling quite frustrated.

We had a very good experience here. We were greeted by Laura (who we found out later was the owner/manager), were promptly seated at what we considered was the best table in the house, right on the edge of the patio where we had one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. The lake, the hills, the sweeping lawn of the resort. It was special. Our server was very good, food was good. The evening was special. Wine list was quite varied. Save room for dessert. The chocolate cake was worth every calorie.

We had made a reservation for 7:45 pm and arrived early at 7:15 pm. Despite there being many empty tables, we were informed that we needed to wait. After waiting for 20 minutes with no one arriving or leaving, we were finally seated. We were also told that we did not need a reservation for Saturday brunch, so we arrived at 10 am to find only a few people in the restaurant and were able to be seated with no issue. However, on Sunday at 10 am, we were once again met by the same hostess or manager who asked if we had a reservation.
