"I ordered Steamed Dumplings (which were the best thing out of all this, those were good) Combination Fried Rice and Combination Lo Mein as well as a Small Hot N Sour Soup. Everything outside of the Dumplings were extremely Bland! I ended up adding my own Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and White Pepper to both the Rice and Lo Mein which made it taste the way it SHOULD have from the beginning which let me know they didn 't really add any seasonings (or little at best) when normally it 's Garlic, Ginger at the minimum! The portion is mostly Rice or Noodles and there is for sure some bits of Protein; More Chicken then anything and a few slices of Beef and 1 Shrimp in each. I went on a Friday at around 4 but I ordered in advance for pickup it was prepared on Time and it WAS Hot still actually surprisingly hot because I had stopped to get a Soda and Gas afterwards and it was all plenty hot by the Time I got home (about 10minutes) I appreciate that I didn 't have to wait and that the Food was Hot but if I wanted bland Rice Lo Mein that I had to season myself I could just buy some Frozen stuff from the Store and do that. I cannot put this as average because tbh I felt like I should 've just went to Panda Express and just got their Chow Mein (their Rice is awful tho, much worse than this place)"

"Last night, I picked up a takeout order from this restaurant and I was very disappointed with the experience. I have ordered from here several times before and each time I went to the pick-up counter, like I usually do with other restaurants that use apps. However, the staff did not greet me when I arrived or when I approached the counter. I didn't think much of it at first, assuming they were busy helping other customers. After waiting for almost 10 minutes, I finally had to ask for assistance. When I showed them my mobile order, they criticized me for not going to the regular line and for not letting them know I needed help. They couldn't even acknowledge that they were wrong for not greeting me or assisting me promptly, despite me standing there for over 10 minutes. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and I have decided not to order from this restaurant again. They argued with me about how a customer should act to receive help, even though I have over 30 years of customer service experience."

"I have been frequenting this establishment since they first opened, and it continues to be a great place to socialize with friends and family. They recently updated their menu with a greater variety of options, including Korean BBQ. The portions in the combo meals are generous - even with a group of six people, we still had leftovers to take home. While it is not all-you-can-eat, the price for the combo option can be more affordable compared to other similar places when dining with a group. Unfortunately, they do not offer desserts and have discontinued their self-serve sauce station. During my visit, they seemed to be understaffed as the service was a bit lacking - we had to wait for staff attention when our broth was running low."

"Decided to stop here for takeout on our way home because we couldn’t find accessible parking on the Plaza (KCMO). I searched gluten-free restaurants near me on google maps multiple times before and Longboards has popped up but I was learey of going there but decided to take a chance. I am glad I did the food was delicious and perfectly proportioned. Both my Mom and I got the Carne Asada bowl. I was so hungry from spending the morning at the zoo that I forgot to take a photo until I was half way through. I would give it 5 stars but the steak was a little tough and the sauce was kinda spicy which I wasn’t prepared for, should have been mentioned on the website just for the customer’s information. Otherwise very happy with my meal. Will definitely try again."

"Great food all around for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean options! Loved the Mediterranean platter with hummus, Babaganoush, grape leaves, and falafel!! Really taste the smokiness in the Babaganoush and the hummus is very smooth with a great addition of great quality olive oil. The grape leaves were warm and seasoned well, and the falafel was executed perfectly having a good amount of herbs and not dry at allI got the kebab platter and my wife ordered the Chicken gyro with a salad. All the food was delicious. I love the saffron rice. It reminded me of a dish my brother-in-law cooked, and he was Jordanian. The Kebabs were equally delicious with just enough grilling, and they were seasoned well. You can also taste the lamb and beef mixture, which I loved. My wife said her chicken gyro was the best one she has had in the KC area. I liked the salad. It is heavily dressed with their vinaigrette and it can look wilted, but that's how that salad is prepared because I have had this version in several middle eastern restaurants. Will definitely be coming back for the food!!. I also understand they do doordash or delivery, and I wish I lived closer cause I would order or go to the restaurant at least, weekly."
