Bulla Gastrobar - Carta

This was the perfect meal to wrap up the year! I sat at the bar since I didn't have a reservation. It was New Year's Eve, so the place was quite busy (but not overcrowded). My linguini was creamy and flavorful, and my dessert was just as delightful!

First time there…out with friends…early dinner…Queen’s Fest week. We all enjoyed it (and we’re very selective). Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere! Our waitress, Avery, was outstanding! But of course, how could she not be? ? GO GAMECOCKS!!! ?Food: 5/5

The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with friends. The cocktails were excellent, and the wine list was impressive. We enjoyed everything we ordered. While the seafood paella wasn't quite as good as I had hoped, it wasn't enough to affect my overall impression. Ver carta

thiago was absolutely amazing, great service and great suggestions. the exec. boil came out and also spoke to us, great personality and he knows what he does the seafood paella was incredibly good, almost brought us to drink and the drinks are 11/10. we are safe again:

Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, fantastic staff, and excellent management—what more could you ask for? This place is definitely worth a visit. The dining experience is amazing, and the cocktails are top-notch! It was our first time, and the calamari is hands down the best in Charlotte!

The Cosmo was sweeter than it should be. My husband liked his old fashioned. The grilled octopus (the reason we chose the place) was well prepared. I do believe it should be paired with something on the tart and/or salty side... Rather than the sweet corn puree. The food was good, but there's definitely room for improvement with the plating. Seated immediately for our reservation. Place was clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we had a view of the dishwashing area. Server was attentive, a little hard to understand, but started the up-sell with the water. Drinks are strong from the bar. Appetizer took a while for the kitchen to put out. We went with server’s suggestion of bread with chopped tomatoes but it was painfully salty. The apricot jam on the chef’s board was delicious though. We had ordered a steak paella with a medium temperature but it mostly well done. Rice was delicious.

Bulla Gastrobar was a nice twist from a normal brunch spot in Charlotte. The type of cuisine helps sperate themselves from others. The pricing was absolutely remarkable for a build your own mimosas and the three course meal. Although, the service was a bit slow. We were accommodated for the versus dietary restrictions within my party. However, the food lacked a bit of flavor. Salt is a binder for a lot of other seasonings and without it; food rarely taste good. There wasn't any salt or pepper on the table and asking for it was like pulling teeth. Other than that, Bulla was definitely a place everyone should enjoy if you like brunch.

I had dinner date a couple of weeks ago at Bulla Gastrobar and I was already impressed from just walking in the door. The lighting and ambience in this place is romantic and beautiful. We were greeted by two nice young ladies and we lucked up as this was a late date and got seated right away. My server was Bunny and she was amazing!!! She knew the menu very well and gave us some great suggestions and we enjoyed everything. She checked to make sure everything was going well and was very personable and genuine. The octopus was delicious, but best of all was the steak with mushroom foam. The patatas bravas were also fantastic! I was so pleased I spoke with the manager Krista to compliment my ex... Ver carta
