"Our server, Brianna, was fantastic and the food was delicious. This was our first visit to Blue Atlas, and we definitely plan to return when we can enjoy the outdoor seating options. I would give it 5 stars, but the noise level in the section of the restaurant where we were seated was quite disruptive. While we had enough space between us and the other diners at the long counter, the commotion from a loud table nearby distracted us from an otherwise lovely dinner."

"We randomly decided to try Kat?s this week, looking for breakfast. I wasn?t too hungry but knew a build your own breakfast sandwich would do. Mannnnnnnnnnnn that croissant and apple butter is some else. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ???????? the potatoes were okay, because they?re small it seems they cook faster, I?d try another side next time. I want to come back and get lunch! The place is hidden in an office building on the first floor, it?s really cool."

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."

"Oh my gosh, what a fantastic little restaurant. The food was fresh and the service was AMAZING, even during a very busy time of night and in a packed space.We were seated at a bar style table looking out of the window, so I thought being waited on might be a little awkward for our server. Nope! I’ve rarely been so impressed with service before. We were seated almost immediately and wanted for nothing pretty much our whole meal.The food was unique and I’m assuming pretty authentically French (although I’ve never been there so I can’t say for sure) I couldn’t help shoveling it all down. Portions were perfect.If I lived in VA I would go here at least once a week. You will NOT regret your visit!!Pictured is their sausage gnocchi and one of the beverages-I think their tea cocktail."

"Good, but not perfect. Strong food, especially when sticking to the chop house basics like crab cakes, steaks, etc. Things can begin to go off the rails when the kitchen wants to be more creative. While one applauds them for trying to stretch their wings, it really would be better for them to stick with what they know--classic seafood and chop house fare. Environment is nice and classy without being overbearing and stuffy. It is never too noisy. Service can be a little uneven and unpolished for this price point. You would expect a little more personal touch and polished professionalism for these prices. Prices are what you would expect at the Philly original, not provincial Richmond....read more"
