"The service was excellent, and we enjoyed dining outdoors with a lovely view of Pewaukee Beach. It created a nice atmosphere. However, when it comes to the food, I was quite disappointed with my beet salad. I've eaten here several times before, but they should really rename it an arugula salad. The tri-colored beets were almost nonexistent, and the cucumber and radish slices were tiny—so small I needed a magnifying glass to see them. To top it off, there was no goat cheese at all, and the pistachios were hardly more than a sprinkle on my plate. The dressing was good, but I’m not sure if the blame lies with the chef or the owner. Overall, it was the worst beet salad I've ever had in terms of quality, especially for $15. My husband enjoyed a delicious turkey club with fries for $18, which makes the value assessment seem off. This was the first time I've been really disappointed with my meal at this restaurant."

"I was expecting a fusty old supper club, resting on its laurels. Boy was I wrong sure, they have the standby prime rib and surf n turf (which looked great, although we didn 't partake) but they have some really terrific, seasonal offerings which impress. Plus you get some of the old standard supper club starters of fresh bread, crackers, and breadsticks with cheese spread and a housemade ham spread. We got to the place a little early on a Wednesday night without a reservation, so we had a cocktail at the bar while we waited for the dining room to get set up. Lots of places say they make craft cocktails but are just throwing random stuff in a glass and hoping it turns out okay not here. The Horticulture combined gin with a garden 's worth of herbal and floral flavors which melded nicely. When our server, Michelle, mentioned a ramp appetizer, we jumped at the chance it 's spring and you eat all the ramps you can, right? Ramps Three Ways was really lovely a salad of ramp tops with orange premiers, toasted hazelnuts, chevre (I think) and a vinaigrette; a spread of ramps with rhubarb and rosemary; and a ramp bulb/potato hash on...well, hell, I don 't remember what it was on but it was savory and melded well. My husband had the lamb shank on onion risotto with a lamb broth, because did I mention spring? Fall off the bone and deeply flavorful. I had the pork cheeks alongside a bed of mashed potatoes with grana cheese and sauerkraut which all combined for perfect mouthfuls. The service was attentive and cheerful in a not annoying way. The wine list is quite solid as well. Overall, really glad to add this to our dining repertoire!"

"Edit: it’s very sad that’s not publicized anywhere for people to know. The entire time we sat there a simple cheese pizza couldn’t have been made? There was 20 minutes where we were the only people there who ordered anything and you just sat around and chose not to cook our food because other people were coming later? And nobody communicated with us that since we didn’t order ahead we’d have to wait over an hour. Poor communication and lack of accountability is a bad look for a restaurant. Came in at 5:45 and we’re sat a few minutes later. Ordered our food right away and then sat there until after 7:15 waiting for our 2 pizzas. Others came in at 6:20 and 6:45 and got their pizzas before us. We used to love it here but waiting an hour for pizza while everyone around us gets one makes it not worth it for us."

"I was very disappointed when I received my The Phoenix. Unfortunately there was no pepper jack cheese that is usually on it. It is the reason I order that sandwich. I love the pepper jack cheese and it just adds so much flavor to the sandwich. so when I first bit into it I knew something was off. and when I checked the sandwich I found out it was missing the pepper jack cheese. I hope next time I order that it is made correctly."

"Less Authentic than Taco Bell: The portions are okay , definitely not the freshest food, i dont know what happened after covid but this food is so bland now , its lost any flavor or even authenticity. While I understand the need to appeal to a wider audience , this is a resturant for no one. The food honestly makes me ashamed to be mexican, 28 dollars for a burrito. They know the quality dipped as they make you pay upfront when you order. The aesthetic was alright if not a bit lifeless and colorless. If ur looking for better value and a better tasting meal, check ur local frozen mexican food section, youll prolly find them shopping there for ingredients too. Homemade chips were nice , Guac and Salsa were little more than water and flavor. If you wanna eat here bring some limes and salt. Their cooks also dont wash their hands or kitchen as me and my fiance both were sick to our stomach after getting home after choking their food down."
