"We had high expectations based on recommendations. The interior was lovely, and the service was good, but the food was a letdown. We started with the black satay, which was tough and chewy, like leather. The slate charcuterie board was decent, though. I ordered the dijon maple pork; the sauce was tasty, but the meat was again extremely tough, resembling horse leather, and it was served on a bed of spinach. We had checked the menu beforehand and were eager to try the sandwiches, but we discovered that they’re not available during dinner hours, which isn't mentioned on their website. Since they only serve brunch on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays, one would think they would offer sandwiches all day on Saturdays."

High-end fun. The food is great at reasonable cost in a comfortable and interesting space. The artwork is fantastic and beautiful elsewhere. Very recommended!

I really enjoyed the flavors in the strawberry mandarin spinach salad. My friend enjoyed the soup of the day and said was delicious. Drink options looked awesome and bar was beautiful. Can see down to the water from an angle inside.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for a date night, and even though we live 35 minutes away, it was worth the trip. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and there was a fascinating gallery of articles to explore. Overall, we had a fantastic time! Ver carta

I'm not someone who typically writes reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts about this particular restaurant. While Jim Thorpe is a lovely place to visit, this restaurant unfortunately falls short. Our meals were bland, and the service left much to be desired. I cannot recommend it.

Great place! Chef John's food is absolutely to die for! It can be a little busy during the autumn holiday season and over packed, but it has a beautiful atmosphere and gallery to go around! The staff are all super nice and ready to work with any restrictions you can have! And their autumn drinks are definitely something you should not miss.

Such a nice little place! In any case it is worth checking out the food is really amazing and it has a unique atmosphere running with the river below. If you have the high table in the corner, you can see below. Chef John makes some spectacular food, we started with the smoked salmon appetizer and I had the Rigatoni and my husband had the short ribs, very tasteful, good portion sizes. They won't be disappointed. Ver carta

We loved the Museum and the Cafe. We had the River bar table where the river runs right underneath! Very cool! Friendly staff, Steve, Skylar and Arielle. Chef John came out and said hello. Complimented the food. Excellent! Museum connected to cafe! Amazing! More people should definitely look up this place in Jim Thorpe PA. Very Unique!! Nice town?was hopping! Bob and Deb from Long Island NY. My apologies was Justin not Steve. Steve was the nice neighbor we met.

Nice restaurant. Chic, but comfortable. Simple menu with interesting options. Berry salad was good and grilled chicken pieces, above, were excellent and plentiful, sit at the table, the view down the brook. Love the windows were open with the AC on. Fresh air, but stay cool. Wait for the daughter's owner. Beautiful young woman who took the time to talk to all tourists and to explain everything clearly written in the available brochure. Then it enjoyed searching the art work in the museum. Jazz room also looks cool. Most of them come back on a Thursday night to hear.

"I want to start off by saying I’ve never had an experience like that in my life. That had to be the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We were told “they just got off a wait” yet still had several people in front of us that needed to be sat. That made no sense…. Anyway, we were told we needed to wait for outdoor seating as well which I opted to do because that’s where we wanted to sit. We waited about 20 minutes which was fine. But we waited those 20 minutes to be told they had no outside seating and needed to be sat inside regardless. We sat for another 15-20 minutes for us to even be greeted by a server to get drinks and one appetizer ordered. We got our drinks in a decent time frame but after that it went down hill. There were 3 adults and a toddler. After over 45 minutes we finally got the appetizer and the toddlers food. The toddler ate their food and by the time toddler was done eating we were STILL waiting for our food. After over an hour of waiting for food and the other wait times tacked on my toddler was done. That’s a really long time for a toddler to sit. One of us eventually went up and asked for our check and our food in boxes to take home instead because our toddler started acting out. The MANAGER was out walking around at this point and did not find it appropriate to come talk to us about our wait times and overall experience but she sure had a problem with the toddlers behavior. That seemed to be the only reason why she came out in the first place. There was no apology from the manager once. Once we got home we reheated our food and found that we shouldn’t have even went out at that point. I’ve could have made those burgers at home myself. The food wasn’t even impressive. I’ve never went out of my way to write out a review about a bad experience but this one was awful. I’m disgusted we even wasted our money on this place. Drive right on by and go somewhere else!"
