Good food, and when we told the wait staff we had limited time, she served us nice hot food very quickly. We all four had different entrees and were all very happy with our delicious food. Ver carta

Amber and Mike are the heart and soul of Cafe Paradisio! They work tirelessly to make the best food and service in Redding! This time we had the butternut squash hummus, wild boars tagliatelle /risotto and the raspberry gelato and they were all perfection!!

Cafe Paradisio is our favorite restaurant in Northern California. The menu is varied and offers a great selection of delicious items. We enjoy the wine recommendations for many of the dishes. The food preparation is beautiful, and the service is outstanding.

The food was exceptional, beginning with our very flavorfully fresh heirloom tomato brurrata. Our salads (pickled beet for me, yummy) then on to entrees were perfectly executed and absolutely delicious. The array of choices for the many dietary needs ofdining patrons is covered at this lovely restaurant owned by Mike and Amber who are also chef and server, managers andbartender, host and hostess extraordinaire!!! Having recently moved here from a big city area that had an AMAZING food scene, we 've had to temper our expectations of many restaurants as being Redding Good vs what we were used to back in our former home. This is the first place that justlegitimately blew us away. The staff was excellent. The ambiance was perfect. The food... My goodness... The FOOD! By far, thebest we 've had in Redding, and would easily compete with the best restaurants across the country. It 's that good. If you 'relooking for a date night, you 'd be doing yourself a disservice by not coming here.

During a business trip, I dined twice at Cafe Paradiso, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The server was amiable (homey is the correct description) and provided excellent recommendations. I tried the soup, garden salad, and chicken marsala the first night, and it was delicious. The second night, I had the Brussels sprout and asked for it to be slightly more chared, and the decadent taste remains in my memory. The elk burger was tasty but large enough that it was hard to bite into. The crisp fries were as I liked them. I will eat again at Cafe Paradiso and try the other dishes, soup, and Brussels sprouts.

This restaurant would receive 6 stars if I could for everything except noise level. There are so many hard surfaces in this little gem of a place that the noise is not only energetic, as open table allows me to say, but Distracting and Annoying. We found it very difficult to hear the conversation at table if you are more than 15 inches inches away from the individuals at your table, which was the case for us, a party of four. A few acoustic panels on the ceiling and walls, which are fully available in cool designs that would not deter from the current aesthetics, would be a welcome addition and would have me saying yes to returning again and more often.
