I loveeeee this restaurant. I’m Cuban and I love the modern spin of some of the dishes. My favorite is the vaca frita bowl and the flan! Everything I’ve tried tastes delicious I come here weekly.

Phenomenal Cuban Mexican. The steak burrito with chips and green sauce (get extra! is one of the best I’ve had! The fried cheese with jam incredible. Steak taco very good. Another Miami must. Wife

Best Cuban food in Miami. I bring all of my friends and family who come to visit from out of town and they always love it. Don’t miss out on the flan. BOTH the coconut and the traditional they’re amazing. Love Caja!!

This cozy little spot is perfect for enjoying Cuban Latin snacks. We visited for an early dinner and ordered the disco volador with vaca frita, along with a heaping side of plantain chips, croquetas with queso manchego, and shrimp tacos. We highly recommend trying the aioli as a dip for the chips—it really enhances the flavor! Ver carta

My first visit this afternoon and had a delicious meal! We ordered the special of the day which were Croquettes de Lechon! Amazing taste with a hint of lime. They definitely need to add them to the main menu stat ? Also had a the refreshing Guava Lemonade not too sweet which was great! For my main dish I ordered the Tamal Cubano which was delicious. Looking forward to going back again to try some other sandwiches and desserts.

I had Caja Caliente cater my bachelorette party, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. I had to consider some dietary restrictions within my group and had many questions, but their team was responsive and extremely helpful in guiding me to select the right dishes and portion sizes. The food was also great as leftovers throughout the weekend. I highly recommend dining at Caja Caliente or using their catering services!

We have dined here twice (once last year early May 2022 and then beginning of Feb 2023). This place is our go to spot when we travel to Miami.We stumbled on this lovely restaurant on YouTube when researching places to eat in the Miami area. We are so happy to have eaten here. The service is warm and friendly. Very knowledgeable as well. The food is so good we look back at the photos we took of our meals and drool!We were so lucky to have actually met Mika on our last visit and she’s just as awesome as you could expect.
