The restaurant is somewhat expensive, but the food is really good. Unfortunately, we can't visit as often as we'd like because of the prices. For example, two fried fish dinners cost us $40, which is quite steep! Ver carta

Definitely worth a visit! I tried the fried shrimp tacos and the gumbo, and both were amazing! The chef knows what she's doing! The place was also very clean, including the bathroom. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but you won't be disappointed!

A little insider tip: if you can wait a couple of days to enjoy the cornbread, it becomes even spicier and tastier. Fridays are special for shrimp étouffée and shrimp gumbo, both of which are mouthwatering. The étouffée offers a slight spice, while the gumbo features a dark, thick roux, and the shrimp are nice-sized and plentiful—not those tiny ones you often find. This was back in mid-November, and while I only had a small taste of the gumbo, it was just as delicious as you would expect—a bit like home-cooked meals from grandma.
