Calabria - Carta

I had a great experience at Calabria. I ordered two slices and the service was quick and courteous. The pizza was hot and crispy, I have no complaints. I would highly recommend Calabria, as I have tried many other pizzerias and none compare.

My wife and I frequently order from this restaurant and the food is always fantastic! We have tried their pizza, salads, soups, and pasta dishes, and they are all incredibly delicious. A big shoutout to the staff for running such a delicious establishment!

This restaurant is a great hidden find, especially amongst the many pizza places in the area. It is definitely the best choice for take-out dinner. The price per person is very affordable, ranging from $1 to $10. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.

There’s an issue with consistency. I had a great pizza from Calabria one day, the next week it was totally different. When the owner isn’t there, the pizza is not the same. Soon as I walked in I could see it wasn’t the same and it wasn’t. Very disappointed. But if the owner is making the pizza that’s a different story. The difference was night and day unfortunately. The pizza at this restaurant is incredibly airy with a delicious bread-like flavor that I enjoy. I didn't feel weighed down after eating it. I also ordered chicken fingers and fries, and the chicken fingers were particularly tasty – tender and fried to perfection. My food was prepared promptly, and the man working behind the counter was friendly and attentive. This place is definitely my new favorite. Ver carta

I often stop by this restaurant for a quick lunch while driving my small bus in the area. The pizza slice is decent, although not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst either. I always request it to be extremely hot, as I like it that way. The crust folds up nicely and is crisp. The sauce is good and tangy, not overly sweet. The slices are on the smaller side, so I usually order two. Overall, it's a very good and solid slice of pizza.

To be clear, I have only stopped in for a slices during lunch. The House pizza is very good, thin crispy crust with no flop, and a good cheese/sauce ratio. Tangy. The sauce is wet (as opposed to gummy and pasty) and tastes like fresh tomatoes. House seasoning is minimal, which I like. IMHO, this is the best pizza slice to go in the Yorktown area. Heads up though, the house pies are really just large pies, so a counter slice might be smaller than you expect. Like two? Order three.

I ordered through "Too Good to Waste," an app available in New York that allows customers to try a business at a discounted price. I have used this app several times. Most businesses have specific pickup times, with Calabria allowing pickups 30 minutes before closing. When I arrived five minutes early, I showed my order to the cashier and was asked to wait. The cashier informed the other worker, and I eventually received a box of pizza. However, upon opening the box, I was disappointed to find five slices of pizza that looked like they were going to be thrown away.
