"My husband, son and I came here for dinner. We ordered sweet, barbecue, boneless wings, french fries, chicken tenders, and the deep fried cauliflower and deep-fried mushrooms.The service was impeccable, including delivery to our car, even though we didn’t ask for that.The food, though, was AMAZING I would have to say the cauliflower and the mushrooms were by far the best I’ve ever had in Grand Rapids and I’m not very young so I’ve had a lot. On the chicken tenders (which had the perfect temp and juiciness) the owner said it is his own recipe of batter and they were also extra delicious. The boneless wings were also perfect temperature and juiciness, they had the perfect amount of sweet barbecue on them, he did not drown them in sauce, which usually makes me think the places that do are trying to cover up something but Wing Kingz had the perfect amount of sauce.The only thing lacking, and it is not his fault, is, there is nowhere to sit, so it’s just pick up and go, which is fine. I just thought I would mention it in case anybody has the idea that they’re going to go in and sit to eat their food.Oh, you have to try the kamikaze Kool-Aid I don’t even know how to explain it, but it is so good!"

"One Bourbon has a beautiful 100-year-old brick interior with a prohibition era hidden cellar but unfortunately is off-limits to customers. We had the Cajun White Bean Hummus and Southern Wontons which were both delicious and full of flavor. As for drinks we had the Sakura Collins and an international flight of various whiskies. Regretfully, one cannot select which brands to include in the flight, but they do offer a variety of pre-selected filled flights. Staff was knowledgeable and not once were they unable to answer a question about a particular whiskey. With over 400 whiskies and bourbons to select from, you can't go wrong.TIP: They do age their own brand of whiskey on-site, but is off menu."

"Very disappointed, the last time I came here was about 2 years ago and during that visit they used real steak for my Loaded Steak Spud. This time I was given crumbles of ?steak ums? meat. And it was very very little to the point where you can?t taste any meat at all. The potatoes still have the same quality but there is no meat to potatoe ratio. Also the cashier was very friendly and patient, the chef wasn?t too pleased when we took a little longer to order because it was hard to choose what we wanted. Once they fix the faux meat and give you that same quantity and quality I experienced 2 years ago, I?ll give it a 5 star."

"When in town you just have to try this place. A great friend recommended this amazing spot for lunch while I was visiting Grand Rapids very recently from Charleston, SC. Needless to say, my buddy was on point. First thing I noticed aside from the quaint nature of the bar area was no televisions. And I’m mentioning this as a positive. You rarely, if ever, see this anymore yet it practically guarantees patrons will at some point engage others. Meeting good folks can be the spice of life. But onto the essentials: the service and food were incredible. Littlebird has many options for basically every taste and diet, but their smashburger garners major accolades. I was going in that direction when I spotted what I was told was an upgrade to an old favorite… the twice-fried Korean chicken sandwich. Mind was blown, and I rarely speak in hyperbole. For starters, they bake their own bread for sandwiches. And I mean this wholeheartedly when I say this was the best bread I’ve ever consumed. It’s perfection. Don’t take my word for it… go experience it for yourself. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect accompaniment and complement to this sandwich. The slaw and sauce just take it to the next level. As a side I chose the house oven-roasted potatoes. Or that’s how they appeared and tasted. Phenomenal. Washed down with a Mexican Coke. It all works. Cannot go wrong. I felt compelled to come here and write this because I was that singularly impressed with this establishment from top to bottom. And I live in one of the best food cities in America in Charleston. Also, a big shout out to day manager Caleb. We got to talking and he was just an awesome dude and a great representative of his employer. He also took time to help with walking directions to the other side of town. Looking forward to our next visit to GR and Littlebird will be the first stop on the restaurant tour. Thanks again!"

"I find this to be one of my favorite breakfast shops in Grand Rapids simply because the food is stellar. It sounds a bit odd and intimidating at first ramen and bulgogi for breakfast! but you 'll find everything is smartly proportioned. Don 't get me wrong, it 's still a big breakfast, but eating a ramen bowl or bulgogi burrito doesn 't feel much heavier than a bagel sandwich elsewhere. The coffee is good, not great, but they 've got a variety of options (pour over, espresso, nitro, and a bunch of seasonal offerings). Service is quality, but slow: there are usually one or two people working. The decoration and ambience are the weakest part here, best described as nondescript coffee shop. All the personality here is in the menu, but it 's still a great meeting space for business and friends alike."
