"My wife and I were driving down from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca and were hoping to have lunch at a wine bar there that had been well reviewed on TA. Unfortunately it turned out to be closed. We were both tired, hot and grumpy and nothing else that we saw in town appealed to us. When we were researching possible places for lunch the day before we noticed this cafe also got great reviews. Therefore, even though it was another 10 minute further drive we decided to go for it... boy we glad we did: delicious Caprese salad with tuna, a tasty panini with local meat and cheese and a great local beer from Capo d'Otranto. Then came the best part: a trio of gelatos featuring chocolate, almond and fig and a third flavour I can't remember the name of but was just as yummy as the first two. As that apparently wasn't enough we also got a delicious chocolate and cream pasticiotti and a couple of Caffe Leccese. Wow! Marco the owner was so warm and hospitable, even though he didn't speak much English and our Italian is very limited to say the least. This for us was a reflection of what foreign travel is all about it can be a lot of hard work and aggravation but just when things seem to be going sideways you can have an amazing experience like this. Really friendly and helpful staff . Brilliant coffee and excellent vegan cornetti. And when they had run out they were happy to put some in the oven for us.We will miss you when we return home . Ver carta

Con il nostro team ci siamo recate nel bar Castrum Caffè in centro a Castrignano. Ottima l'accoglienza, servizio accurato, perfetta pulizia degli ambienti, titolare affabile e professionale. Abbiamo gustato un ottimo aperitivo. Consiglio a tutti.

Il castrum bar di Castrignano del Capo, sito nei pressi della piazza principale della cittadina, è un bel locale di tendenza. Location fine ed accogliente, ottima caffetteria e deliziosa pasticceria. Il personale accoglie sempre il cliente con un sorriso. Lo consiglio vivamente....

Ormai da qualche anno é diventata una tappa fissa, dopo il bagno mattutino per colazioni o aperitivi. Consiglio le crocchette di patate fritte con foglie di menta, la fine del mondo, naturalmente immancabili il pasticciotto, cornetto o rustico). Personale sempre col sorriso. Consiglio vivamente. Il Bar Castrum è un Locale molto apprezzato a Castrignano; abbiamo avuto occasione di conoscerlo durante una vacanza nel Salento. Ideale sia per i momenti di colazione che di aperitivo, abbiamo assaggiato gustosi prodotti tipici dolci e salati, grazie anche ai preziosi suggerimenti del personale, cordiale e molto disponibile. consigliatissimo!

Ormai è tappa fissa per le nostre colazioni e merende. Vastissimo assortimento di dolci (classici pasticciotti, brioches che possono anche essere farcite al momento, biscottini, ecc. ecc. e salati (rustici, pizzette, panini, ecc. ecc. . Inoltre è possibile gustare caffè e tisane dai gusti sfiziosi (cioccolato, melograno, cannella e altri abbinamenti particolari . Il locale è curato nei minimi dettagli, pulito e accogliente e il servizio ottimo. Consigliatissimo.
