"The restaurant had a great variety of food, and I really enjoyed the seafood cakes and bacon. The smoked salmon was good, but I was disappointed that the fish station wasn't refilled promptly. The live omelet station was a nice touch, and the dessert section was better than average. The French toast was well made, and the salami shrimp were tasty. Our server, Hunter, was very pleasant and attentive, keeping our drinks filled and clearing our plates promptly. The view of the river was also nice. Overall, the service was good, but the flavor could be improved."

Very good! Pretty expensive but worth what you pay. I had the white fish, was very satisfied! I'd come back here.

I highly recommend dining at Troy at Holiday Inn or Charley's Crab in Grand Rapids. It was the best meal I've had in the city. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

It has been 15 years since we last visited Charley's Crab. We randomly decided to give their Sunday brunch a try, even though we were concerned that this iconic restaurant might only rely on its reputation and history.

We absolutely love Charley's and always make it a point to visit whenever we have an event in the city. They never let us down in any aspect, and it's always a wonderful experience. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion! Ver carta

Sunday buffet is amazing! So many options and the prime rib was delish. Service was wonderful from everyone I came in contact with. Might be a little pricey $25 per person) for every weekend but totally worth it for a treat or special occasion!

Went for the first time as my son picked it out for his 21st birthday. Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. They made it special for my family. My son enjoyed his first Mojito and I enjoyed the mock-tail since I was driving.

The lobster was excellent, but seemed a little on the small side for a Maine tail. The Swordfish was good, but the Dynamite sauce made it excellent! Our waitress was nice, but wasn't the best at giving suggestions about the menu. A nice bonus was the free parking and complimentary valet that is hard to find in downtown GR. Overall, it was a great tasting meal. Ver carta

Charley’s Crab is the best restaurant to eat Thanksgiving in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It has a very wide selection of foods and deserts that you can choose from. The staff are very friendly and attentive. If you are a Landry’s Select Club member they give you points towards getting free money to use at Landry’s Restaurants. If you are going, plan on making a reservation for it. Also, plan ahead by arriving a little early because they will have a little wait for seating you. It is well worth the wait.

We sat out side on a very hot day. No fully recommended as at times there is no breeze. Waiter kept forgetting to bring us dishes and silverware as the tables outside are not setup. Overall service was great and they were very accommodating. Scallops were yummy. I got the surf turf and my boyfriend got the lobster. Lobster was a tad salt but yummy. Steak was prepared well and could be cut with a butter knife. Can be on the pricey end depending on what you get but that is to be expected. Looking forward to trying some other items on the menu.

"When in town you just have to try this place. A great friend recommended this amazing spot for lunch while I was visiting Grand Rapids very recently from Charleston, SC. Needless to say, my buddy was on point. First thing I noticed aside from the quaint nature of the bar area was no televisions. And I’m mentioning this as a positive. You rarely, if ever, see this anymore yet it practically guarantees patrons will at some point engage others. Meeting good folks can be the spice of life. But onto the essentials: the service and food were incredible. Littlebird has many options for basically every taste and diet, but their smashburger garners major accolades. I was going in that direction when I spotted what I was told was an upgrade to an old favorite… the twice-fried Korean chicken sandwich. Mind was blown, and I rarely speak in hyperbole. For starters, they bake their own bread for sandwiches. And I mean this wholeheartedly when I say this was the best bread I’ve ever consumed. It’s perfection. Don’t take my word for it… go experience it for yourself. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect accompaniment and complement to this sandwich. The slaw and sauce just take it to the next level. As a side I chose the house oven-roasted potatoes. Or that’s how they appeared and tasted. Phenomenal. Washed down with a Mexican Coke. It all works. Cannot go wrong. I felt compelled to come here and write this because I was that singularly impressed with this establishment from top to bottom. And I live in one of the best food cities in America in Charleston. Also, a big shout out to day manager Caleb. We got to talking and he was just an awesome dude and a great representative of his employer. He also took time to help with walking directions to the other side of town. Looking forward to our next visit to GR and Littlebird will be the first stop on the restaurant tour. Thanks again!"
