"The prices on the menu were much lower than what I ended up paying. After I placed my order, I wasn’t allowed to make any changes, and the staff didn’t seem to care or understand the difference between the menu prices and what I was charged. This experience was quite unprofessional and really ruined my lunch. To be frank, it affected my entire day. I made my choices based on what I thought were the correct prices on the menu, and the staff's indifference to this error was disappointing. I'm not even sure if..."

Delicious burritos, my favorite place in Boston. Very well constructed and always amazing. Don't forget the hot sauce!

Could be better. The quality of food is good, but $15 for a rice and beans burrito is expensive. Barely a trace of chicken or guacamole. They charge $3.99 for chips only too.

One of the best, if not the best, torta de pollo. The bread is so delicious and the pico de gallo so fresh it added an incredible amount of flavor. Will be getting this again!

Great service! Ordered on toast and it was ready. Knocking one star on food just because my meal was SO SALTY. Plus I paid for an add-on and didn’t get it. Perhaps just an off day! Ver carta

Idk if this was recent but the prices got hiked up MASSIVELY. A carne asada quesadilla went from $13 to almost $20 now? We ordered here 1-2x a week and now our business will go elsewhere.Edit: Seems like the feedback worked as they lowered them to a reasonable price now! : Will be returning

I ordered two chicken burritos along with chips and salsa, but instead received two burritos filled with beans and rice, along with the chips. The extra hot sauce that we were promised was included in the bag turned out to be just one tiny container to share. They continue to fall short of meeting expectations.

Service is terrible and the cashiers are always extremely rude and cut you off while speaking, but this is offset by the INCREDIBLE food; hands down the best tacos in Boston next to Yellow Door. Yellow Door is a better atmosphere and experience, in my opinion, especially for a night out. The tamales here at Chilacates are great as well. Definitely worth the visit! Ver carta

Came across this place on a random Google search and decided to give it a try. Amazing! It?s a small place with not much for looks but the food is absolutely delicious. I eat a lot of Mexican food and these were some of the best veggie enchiladas I?veever had. A perfect balance of flavours and textures. The horchata was also yummy! I?d post a photo but there?s nothing leftto take a pic of?

I stumbled upon this restaurant while browsing Google and decided to give it a shot. Wow, what a great find! It's a cozy, unassuming spot, but the food is truly fantastic. As someone who enjoys Mexican cuisine, I can confidently say these were some of the best veggie enchiladas I've ever tasted—perfectly balanced in both flavor and texture. The horchata was also delightful! I would share a photo, but there’s nothing left on my plate to capture!

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
