The food and service were exceptional! We ordered the prime rib, and it was absolutely delicious—truly to die for!

Everything was great! Our bartender was very professional and attentive, and our food and drinks were sublime! Definitely look forward to returning!

I have visited this restaurant several times and the atmosphere is amazing. I wish I could come here every day if I could. The prices are very affordable and the food is beyond perfect. Got to go on a Saturday evening and it was super busy. No parking spots left and only the one table open. Good draft beers, best boneless ribeye steak I've had in Montana next to the Windsor's.. also had a pretty damn good bacon cheeseburger and the fries and onion rings were wonderful. Next time I go I'm trying a week night.

when we went to the house, I asked if the kitchen was still open (half an hour before the closing time for restaurant) and the bartender and 3 customers laughed literally over us. we are in the city of 4 hours away for a late Valentine's Day celebration, and I really wanted to share my love of thubbys with my man. how disappointing chubbys!

I cannot comprehend how this restaurant is still operating. The service I received was the worst I have ever encountered. They must be shut down immediately. The atmosphere was repulsive and the smell was so strong that I nearly became sick. The food looked like it was meant for animals or prisoners. Overall, it was a horrible experience. Although this restaurant may not look like much from the outside, it serves the best steak dinner around. The waiter was excellent and the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. The Rainier beer was very refreshing and you must try the Huckleberry ice cream, it's amazing. I will definitely be back in Helena. This place has the best steak in Montana and it did not disappoint!

Came here from a high recommendation.After seating, it took 15 min to get our drinks. We ordered the gizzard for the app. Fryer must definitely need to be cleaned and change the oil, it soaked our plate in burnt oil. I had a bacon cheese burger and o rings, burger tasted like the gas from the grill and no seasoning. My fault ordering the rings, the oil was so bad. My husband got the NY with shrimp. Again, a big disappointment, no seasoning, so much fat that it was a search for the meat. No refills were offered on drinks. Been going here for over 10 years. It has unfortunately gone down hill drastically in the last 3 years. The young boy host makes you feel like an inconvenience when you come to eat and is constantly on his cell phone. The wait staff is polite but not friendly like they used to be. The ribeye used to be a nice hunk of meat has dwindled down damn near nothing. The prime rib is swimming in juices along with your soggy potato, butter and sour cream packet. The staff are constantly climbing over each other to get into the one door to the kitchen.
