"Since traffic was alarming, we couldn 't make our usual spot for lunch. So, instead we tried Citrus Restaurant. As we saw that they reinstated a lunch buffet on Sundays- we asked: why not? However, as we entered, there was no acknowledgement. The staffwere highly unattentive. During lunch, we noticed that the wait staff did not visit tables to check on water. Yet, after we madea point that drinks needed to be refilled, then they would check on other guests. Overall, they weren 't as welcoming as theycould be. As for the food, the flavors were off. The chili chicken tasted like general tso 's. There were also texturalelements that were off beat. The lamb was chewy and the gulab jamun was stodgy. Overall, the curries had a single note offlavor- all about a 7 on heat but no definition. Ultimately, after the poor service, I wouldn 't return. Additionally, the foodwas not as up to par with my favorite restaurant. Sorry, but my expectations for flavor have been raised high."

Fantastic Asian food. A bit of a wait for our take out order but worth the wait.

One of my favorite restaurants in the county, I'm trying to eat my way through their entire menu. Phenomenal curries, fantastic Thai food, this place is awesome

Having backpacked in India for six months, I will say that this food was incredible. It was Americanized Indian food of course, but it was really high quality. And the servers were keenly observant and funny. Ver carta

The food is okay. Drinks are like colored salt water. Soup taste like a flavored detergent.Coming to the service, the employees are fine. A guy who says he is a manger is not fit for the job. He disrespects his customers. On top of all this. They sell expires items

One of my all-time favorite Indian restaurants. Excellent food and service are provided. enjoyed chicken tandoori and prawn tikka masala for dinner, and tried samosas and lasuni gobi as appetizers. Each dish has a rich flavor and a delicious taste. Will certainly return. • Food 5/5 • service 5/5 • Ambiance 5/5 Ver carta

My God! This was the BEST meal I have had in a very long time. Citrus is the greatest Indian restaurant and even though I only live 30 minutes away, I do not come here often enough. Portions of Indian food are HUGE. spicy Lamb, butter chicken, sagpaneer, aloo baingan. Phenomenal stuff. I cannot say enough good things.

After a light-hike, our group of four came to Citrus restraint for hot tea and butter naan. Hospitality was good and we immediately got hot tea with samosas. Tea and Samosas were good. We also ordered vegetable-pakoda which were okay-ish. For the main course we ordered bhindi-do pyaza, matar paneer, chicken biryani, butter naan and aloo paratha. The quantity was great but the taste was hit-miss. We loved bhindi-do-pyaza, however matar-paneer was a disappointment. Biryani lovers lost their enthusiasm as soon as a couple of spoons went in.Service and ambience is good for a nice evening with friends and family.

"tl;dr: awesome spot, reasonably-priced, delicious food, great service. wonderful neighborhood gem!we were debating btw this place and another spot, but this place ultimately won because i got drawn in by one thing and one thing only: the steak frites. the place was cozy and romantic, with a few tabled already occupied. they're currently offering an inflation buster prix-fix menu, for 1 app and 2 mains for $60 and that's what we went with. we got the following to try:-BBQ ranch chicken nachos: huge portion! juicy chicken breast strips, pico de gallo, ranch, bbq sauce, and melty cheese on crunchy tortilla chips. the pico had a nice tang to it, it wasn't your typical lime juice but i can't seem to put a finger on it. but really good! i do think it's better to cut the chicken into cubes than strips tho, for better chicken-to-nacho distribution ratio.-steak frites: comes perfectly cooked as requested (medium rare), served with bearnaise, fries, and garlic aioli. the steak was thick, meaty, and tender. the bearnaise sauce was awesome. we loved the garlic aioli and it paired well with the crispy fries. HIGHLY recommend this one!-brick chicken: seared, deboned half chicken (except the drumette, for presentation), served with baby potatoes, and mushroom/spinach in a marsala wine sauce. the chicken was nicely seared and juicy (yes, even the chicken breast), but a tad too salty for my taste. the marsala wine sauce was rich and creamy, but it does get a little heavy after a few bites.-lemon sugar crepe: light, tangy, refreshing.i also tried a cocktail but can't seem to remember the name of it for the life of me. i believe it was gin-based, with some kind of citrus. it was really tasty and well-balanced too. service was awesome, food was delicious, huge portions (we had leftovers), and just a really wonderful neighborhood gem. would love to stop in again if we're in the area!"

"Have had this place on my radar for sometime took a chance and got a reservation for four at 8pm. With my name in the reservation book I begin to do some research on the chef, and also what was on the menu for the evening. Naturally the four courses was happening beginning with the beef tartare beautifully plated with an egg yolk quinelle of carrot pesto grain mustard and Dijon. Very delicate the meat basically melted as soon as it hit the tongue. Next course I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and Bronzino the sabayon was exactly what the doctor ordered to tie both the ravioli and Bronzino together. The rest of the group got the gnocchi which I described them as little pillows of potato heaven, not your ordinary dense dumplings, almost reminded me of gnudi I could have polished 3 bowls of them. For main I received the triple seared beef cooked perfectly nestled between a gratin and root vegetable. Dessert I received the three creme brûlée the almond was my favorite following the coffee than the green tea. I am glad to see this place in Newburgh such a beautiful setting as soon as you step into the restaurant it's unbelievable the ambiance and the true attentiveness of the waitstaff as well. For such a young chef truly a visionary and making notches in the culinary world of the Henson valley. Well done LSB one of my only critiques would be I don't drink doesn't mean I don't enjoy something with some personality, and distinguishing traits behind it. Will definitely be returning."
