As a seafood enthusiast, I can confidently say this place hits the mark! I absolutely love the variety of flavors, and everything I've tried is delicious. I highly recommend paying a visit!

My Cajun seafood to go place. No. 1 in the Bay Area. Service is quick and appropriate. Their chicken wings are not as good as before. But the seafood is the best and there are barely any wait time. I love this little gem in San Jose

I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money at this place. I’m not sure how it has a 4.6-star rating. The food was quite disappointing. The garlic noodles tasted stale, the shrimp had clumps of garlic on them, and the wings were extremely tough. I definitely won't be returning.

The seafood was served cold, the butter sauce was clumpy, and there was an overwhelming amount of garlic. It wasn’t spicy, but rather had a peppery taste that made me feel sick; I ended up vomiting the next morning and my stomach burned all night. The food here is incredible, and the overall experience is fantastic. You receive a plate, a bib, gloves, and a bag filled with your choice of shellfish. Then, you get to indulge in the delicious meal. The Shackies sauce is outstanding and complements the shrimp perfectly. Don't forget to grab a bread roll to soak up any leftover sauce. I found the Shambalang to be less impressive; it had a bit too strong of a fried taste for my liking.

We absolutely love the Shambalang house sauce, which has just the right amount of spice. We haven't tasted anything like it at any other Cajun-style seafood restaurant. They also offer plastic bibs and gloves for those who need them. The restaurant features small TVs, reminiscent of a sports bar, but they are just the right size to maintain a cozy atmosphere despite the open seating arrangement. It’s not overly noisy, and the customers are quite respectful, contributing to a very enjoyable dining experience.

This restaurant is quite good compared to other popular seafood boil spots in the area, and the wait times are similar. The shambalang sauce was fantastic, but I think their garlic butter could use a little more garlic and butter flavor. The wings were also delicious; I tried the lemon pepper (crispy and tangy) and the garlic honey (sweet), and I liked both. The garlic noodles are a must-try; they were very tasty with a surprising hint of sweetness. The service was friendly and quick. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by here. Ver carta
