"Absolutely fabulous! My friend and I came for the taco tuesday. It was pretty packed but we got a table pretty quick! Our server (Ben) was very nice and attentive. My friend had and loved the avocado (crispy and tangy) and mellow mushroom (spicy and savory) tacos. I had the texas fries and we shared the maks sampler. The meat tastes great, not greasy and weird like most places. THE FRIES!? BEST I've ever had! Crispy outside and squishy inside with good flavor too Overall a great experience!"

"I 've been driving through Nacogdoches for years and I finally had the time to stop at this awesome diner. Local artwork is all over the walls from all ages. Check out the hallway to the bathrooms. Elizabeth, the floor manager, was my waitress. She was extremely helpful with the menu and helped me save money. The Create Your Own omelette is your best option if you know what you want. Find out these are little more than a four egg omelette and they 're whipped up really nice. The hash browns are sliced no more than a quarter inch thick and they 're fried to perfection. Great crunch! Sometimes when you order toast it 's really thin and flimsy but not here. Thick and hardy. Grateful that omelette sandwich. What other thing I noticed is that the staff usually have a smile on their faces. They also work together like ants never standing around for more than a minute. They 're constantly helping each other out to make sure the customer experience is #1. My coffee never ran dry. I have the chance to talk to the owner, Miss Dollie, and she has a great business model and I had to brag on her staff. This is truly a family owned and run restaurant. I highly recommend that you make the effort to stop by and enjoy this family environment and awesome food!! If there was six stars I would give it to them."

"This is AMAZING!! My husband and I visited Nacogdoches for the first time, and the reviews convinced us that we had to taste El Ranchero. When I saw “two free margaritas” advertised, I thought it was a joke or there were some hooks, but this is for REAL!! And they are real margaritas! (choices between mango, lime or strawberry. My husband said his burrito was “the best he ever eaten” and my soft beef Tacos were amazing.. One of the best I have eaten! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nacogdoches!"

"We started with the shrimp wonton appetizers, which were different from what I expected, but they turned out to be very good—I would recommend them. I ordered Mama's Spicy Chicken and Shrimp, and it was delicious. My son had a combo platter that was very generous and, according to him, really tasty too—he didn’t share at all! One of my pet peeves is when restaurants have a poor beer selection, but Auntie Pasta’s had a pretty good list, featuring some local brews. If I remember correctly, the beers I tried were from the Fredonia brewery, and they were decent. More importantly, I was glad to have the chance to sample a new local beer. Our experience would have been fantastic if it hadn't been for the long wait for our food. It took far too long to arrive. Perhaps if I had chosen to drink more like the ladies next to us, I wouldn't have noticed it as much. Our waitress apologized for the delay, explaining that there were only two cooks in the kitchen, and it was a Tuesday night. My meal wasn't piping hot, while my son's was, which might have been due to my dish waiting on his. If I could give half stars, I would probably deduct half a star for the wait. However, if it weren't for that, I might have rated it 4.5 stars."

"Stopped in late on Wednesday night, we had a burger and chicken quesadilla. My daughter asked for just chicken and cheese in the quesadilla and I asked for the BBQ sauce on the burger to be on the side. Both orders came out wrong, but it was late and overall the meal was good. There wasn't so much sauce that I felt I needed to send it back and my daughter just picked out the salad not even telling me it was wrong until well into the meal. But it was good and even these minor errors didn't affect the quality of the meal. The staff were great, very polite, and helpful. When the server noticed the mistake he offed to take it back but we decided not. We will visit again on our next trip to Nacogdoches."
