"we start with the clever idea that al cjasal has implemented: they can receive most dishes as full, half or bite. with an interesting selection of dresses that change seasonal and mainly used local ingredients, they did not. they know how it goes: they look at a menu in a good restaurant and have several things they want to try, but just have to choose one. Now, we had first all the possible bites I, there were eight or nine of them, not the free little risotto that they prepared for a group that sits near us and of course get something extra that we like to accept. al cjasal likes to play with her food. the result is whimsical, but not to a point of l’art pour l’art. let me give them an example so that there are not too many spoilers: they get a bowl of whistle. on the bottom of the bowl there is only empty. on the top, there are the ones they should eat. one half of the shell consists of a crispy, squirt-coloured dovetail, similar to the real one. it is filled with baccala (salted codfish), with chunk and other dinges, so it resembles a clam. they remove the upper (real) half of the dish and eat the rest in a bite wonderful. in taste (which counts), not only as a piece of culinary art. after the bites we had a main dish and had only a place for one dessert. with a bottle of good local wine, water and coffee, came the bill for three euro, which is an excellent value for both quantity and quality of the food we have. a final must-return when changing season and menu."

"Ci sono tornato per la comunione della nostra secondogenita dopo aver fatto il pranzo della comunione della primogenita due anni fa', e questa dovrebbe già dirla lunga, ed anche se chi mi conosce potrebbe pensare che ci sono tornato solo perché abito poco lontano, penserebbe male, perché come mi sono trovato bene la prima volta, mi sono trovato altrettanto bene la seconda, partendo da chi gestisce il ristorante, che con tutta l'evidenza ha trasmesso la sua esperienza e la passione ai suoi dipendenti, che lavorando come elementi di un'unica macchina fanno del posto, semplice ma elegante, un ottimo locale dove fermarsi a pranzo o organizzare delle cerimonie. "Un bel steakhouse stile USA anni 50 con molti cimeli e statue di personaggi dell'epoca Questo non è il classico locale che fa parte delle solite catene tematiche di ristorazione, ove non c'è la possibilità di bere al banco o altre soluzioni di bar Si trova sulla strada principale che va da Portogruaro a Latisana in una zona tranquilla quindi posizione ottimale e con ampio parcheggio Listino del cibo molto ricco di scelta, ovviamente sempre nello stile USA tipo paninazzi I panini son abbondanti e sazianti a livello di una pizza, sempre accompagnati dalle patatine fritte come si usa in Usa....appunto! "This is without a doubt the best meal I've had in Italy. The atmosphere is great, quaint and lovely. We had great food almost as good as the bread sticks given as we sat down. The house wine was only 9€ per bottle and was excellent. After our meal the chef was sitting near us after most customers had left and chatted with us. Before long our group was talking with the chef and all the staff and they were a wonderful group of people. They offered us glasses of liquor on the house to finish our meals. If you don't know where to eat or don't know if this place is good with only 2 reviews, please just eat here. It will be one of the best experiences during your stay in Italy."
