"We've been coming here for over 5 yrs, it's always been very good, but this time our food was very disappointing We were very excited to try the chicken fried chicken,......mistake. It says made with fresh chicken breast, no way was it fresh! It came fresh out of a box not good at all, but everything else was good. the waiter was nice, he did a great job. "We had a late lunch early dinner in their patio area. Forgot our server 's name, but she was awesome and attentive. Excellent flavor on everything even our pickiest eater truly enjoyed his food. Can 't tell you much about the cleanliness or anything else, as I never went inside. All I know is that there was 8 of us and we all enjoyed our food and drinks. Definitely a place I would go back to, without my Gson. Parking: It 's downtown and you may have to drive around and look for a spot. But there was plenty of street parking less than a block away. Kid-friendliness: It 's not a place I would go to with a child after 5pm. Granted it was a Friday and a couple of Happy Hour get togethers were underway when we got there. The only child in our group was my 8yr old Gson and he heard a few words that we normally don 't use around children."

"I had a fantastic experience at Sal's! The food was exceptional, and the staff provided outstanding customer service. I’ve never tried the hamburger, but I really appreciated that I could customize my dish without any issues or judgment, which isn't always the case at other places. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Sal's. They have seating options for larger groups and will rearrange tables if needed. I only visited for dinner, so I can’t speak to the lunch experience. The service was quick, and they served freshly-made chips and salsa while we waited (although I’m not sure if they were really fresh). The drinks and chips were promptly refilled. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Madera!"

"I ordered delivery from Doordash so I cannot comment on the atmosphere or service, but the food was hands down some of the best I have ever had! The steak on the Nachos Asada was incredibly fresh, and the homemade chips were extra crunchy. The Quesabirria was cheesy and delicious, even though I am not usually a fan of rice. The Side of Rice was fluffy and flavorful. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be ordering from here again!"
