"While Copper John’s may look like any other pub from the outside, the food and drinks absolutely exceeded expectations. It has a cozy feel, friendly staff, and sports on the TVs.And with the location close to both Central Park and Times Square, it’s a great pub and restaurant if you’re just visiting or staying in the Midtown area.I highly recommend you check it out, but here’s our full review if you need any more convincing. ?Copper John’s Interior StaffCopper John’s is under new ownership and their cocktails are made by a mixologist who has worked all over the world and mixed drinks at The Dead Rabbit.The staff was kind, the service was fast, and it wasn’t too crowded.They didn’t have the best TV set up ever, but there are about 5-7 total TVs throughout.Copper John’s FoodWe had Chicken Katsu Fries and their Pot Pie. Both exceeded expectations!The Chicken Katsu Fries were by far the better of the two. Some of the best fries I’ve had at a bar or pub. Try them out!Copper John’s Cocktails DrinksWe had a tasty cocktail and a nice draft cider from Austin Downeast.It’s under new ownership and their cocktails are made by a mixologist who has worked all over the world and used to mix drinks at The Dead Rabbit, an NYC staple. Be sure to try a cocktail!I truly Austin’s cider, they are always a solid option. Came in late one evening for drinks. Staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Great atmosphere and feeling in the place.

The staff here are very friendly, but the atmosphere doesn't feel very Irish, with hip-hop music playing and Spanish soap operas on the TVs. However, the shepherd's pie was outstanding!

We stumbled across this great bar on our last day and wish we had found it sooner. Great atmosphere, 80s and 90s music and very friendly staff. We decided to have bite to eat and food was delicious. Worth a visit.

Best Pub and Kitchen in NYC! Very good tasting food at an affordable NYC price. They have a nice selection of Gluten Free dishes. Their staff is engaging; consistently providing genuinely friendly service (something I never take for granted in NYC).

Wow!!! Copper John's has the best chips and salsa ever! We visited on St. Patrick's Day, and it was incredibly busy, but our food was served quickly. The customer service was excellent—our server kept our drinks refilled. The atmosphere was fantastic as well! Ver carta

What a great find when visiting New York, stumbled on the place when walk back from Central Park and wow, we wish we had found it on day 1!!! Firstly it sells my favourite drink (Magners), it’s reasonably priced, especially for a city centre place, the food is amazing and the place just feels nice and welcoming. The service is professional and very friendly and I’ll definitely be back..

The servers were fantastic—friendly, warm, and remained calm and professional even amidst the busyness of managing so many tabs. My guests remarked on how great the space was and how helpful and efficient the staff had been. I can see others wanting to host their events there as well!
