"I'm giving this place of three because of the nice waiter and the location is nice. I also only tried the Mexican food so I don't know what the other food tastes like. When I went at lunch there was a lot of retired people eating there. I drove out of the way to try this place because I was told by people they had good authentic Mexican food. I'm assuming it's people that have never been outside of the area. I was disappointed with the food and the prices for what I received if the food had been authentic the prices would have been worth it. But everything was flavorless and watered down I'm not sure if it was done because most of the guests are primarily elderly from what I saw today. They didn't even have authentic Mexican hot sauce or cheeses on my flautas. The chips were cold they tasted a little stale and the salsa was tasteless and like a tomato puree. It's very Americanized and if that's what you like you'll probably like this place. But for me it wasn't what I was expecting. Better to travel to other places and get Mexican food in the area. I hope they read these reviews because they are Mexican family and I'm sure that they can make better food and if they've watered it down for the area in the population that they're getting I think that's the wrong thing to do. "La nueva empresa de administración ha arruinado este lugar. No hay menús para niños disponibles para leer, ya sea en forma impresa o en línea, la camarera tuvo que verificar qué había disponible para los niños. Mi bebida estaba tan desequilibrada con jugo de limón que sabía a limpiador de pisos. Pedimos la primera hamburguesa de comida para niños, macarrones con queso, ensalada César para que saliera lista y nuestras aplicaciones. Nuestras aplicaciones fueron lo primero. El tataki de atún tenía mal sabor, no puedo creer que mi esposo se lo comiera, creo que lo hizo solo porque tenía mucha hambre. Los potstickers estaban quemados, no dorados, quemados por un lado. No puedo creer que mis hijos se los comieran, pero de nuevo, también tenían hambre. Bruschetta era el especial, los tomates estaban poco maduros, ¿por qué ofrecerlo como especial si el producto no está maduro? No es que importara, porque había tanto ajo que no sabías nada más. El pan servido con él también estaba completamente negro por un lado. No asado totalmente negro. No comió. Y por último pedimos el crepe de langosta. Abajo a la derecha bruto. Ensalada fría de langosta, en una envoltura fría que se desmorona, sí, estaba enrollada como una envoltura deli con una gran gota de mayonesa en el plato. No comestible y asqueroso. Eso fue el colmo. Si sus bebidas son malas y su comida es mala, ¿por qué molestarse en quedarse? Pidió el cheque y para llevar cajas para la comida de los niños, que todavía no había llegado, y se fue. Ni una sola vez el servidor o el gerente nos hicieron un control de calidad ni nos preguntaron si todo estaba bien. Pagamos nuestro cheque en su totalidad y le di una propina al servidor, le dijimos a la anfitriona al salir de nuestra decepción, no intenté conseguir un gerente o tratar de corregir la situación. Fue una experiencia muy decepcionante, y no vemos ninguna razón para regresar si esta es la dirección en la que están su nivel de calidad y servicio desde que despidieron a su chef y gerente de restaurante."

"We visited on a Friday evening and were able to get a seat without a reservation. Would have preferred to sit in the bar section because they have TVs and seemed cozier. Maybe if we would have had reservations we could have made a request for seating inthis area. Regardless, we were seated in the back room which has mostly booths so offers privacy. The waitress was attentive andtimely. I enjoyed a burger and onion rings, and were cooked appropriately (medium for burger) for my tastes. My husband enjoyeda fish sandwich and my daughter a chicken sandwich. I would definitely return here."

"It’s been awhile since I’ve had a dining experience like my Aunt and I had last night at the Tavern. Truly one of the best! The food (which was amazing) literally flowed from one course to the next appropriately without feeling rushed. Our server seemed to genuinely want to make sure our experience was unforgettable without being annoying. I’m sorry I’ve waited so long to come back to the Tavern! Thank you for treating us like royalty!!"

"Disappointed to see such poor judgement and poor business decision making happening at Allenberry. A business that is ok with furthering community divide, increasing local tensions, alienating anyone concerned about covid or racism or LGBTQ issues (along with many others), exposing employees and their families to the risks involved with this group of careless and selfish people, and increasing the chances that covid spreads in the community (delaying returning to schools or visiting the elderly in the nursing homes as well as risking illness, suffering, and death), is not at all representative of an owner or business that cares about the community or those in it. We will not patronize Allenberry from this point on and will encourage others to do the same and instead choose businesses who exhibit civic and community values. Integrity still matters."
