Crab Shell - Carta

Sat inside as it was getting chilly. Looks like outside is the place to be. Food was very good.

I found the food to be average, and unfortunately, I ended up chipping my tooth on a clam because there was a hard piece in it.

We dined here in January, but I can imagine how lovely it is during the summer with its spacious outdoor area and live music. This visit was specifically for their winter dinner special offering 2-for-1 meals, and I must say, it was excellent!

Lobster in lobster roll overcooked and tough. Baked clams tasted good and had large chunks of clam, however they were the texture of rubber bands, and couldn't be chewed. Service was good, but with the poor quality of the food by meansade up for an expensive meal that was mediocre at best. Ver carta

I love this place! They have the best (and the only) crab chowder around here and I get it every time. The king crab legs are always phenomenal although the portion can seem small. Everything I've gotten here is delicious. The live music is probably the best part saw short bus band last night and as long as crab shell continues to have them, and the crab chowder, I'll definitely be back. A cool atmosphere with good food and music!

I had a lunch meeting with a business contact at this restaurant on a rainy weekday. The atmosphere was quite calm, with only a few other business lunches happening. Our waitress brought us the menus and drinks, but then she seemed to forget about us for the next 30 minutes. Despite having our laptops out and discussing business, our drinks ran dry, and we eventually had to ask a passing busboy to fetch her for us. The food was decent, but it seems like the place might be more enjoyable for drinks and appetizers outdoors in the summer. Overall, I would recommend looking for other options.

My family and I have been coming here since it first opened, oh gosh I believe in the early 2000 's if not late late 90 's, for many an occasion but more recently, it 's our go to stop a must have, no matter the time of day, after we have gone to the city (New York, Long Island, even Jersey and anyone in the family that didn 't make the trip, always request to be brought back a lobster potpie, which are to die for!!! Everything I ever get taste great, no matter what it is!!! Lately,I 've been stuck on the 'Crab Shell ', which is there name sake signature dish of a simple seafood pasta that is sssooo delectable They always have 'specials of the day ' with at least 4-6 options, the last 3 almo...
