This is the slowest Cracker Barrel I have ever experienced. Despite informing the waitress that we were in a hurry after waiting for 20 minutes with no service, it still took an hour to receive our appetizers and almost 90 minutes to get our food. There were only two of us dining and it was not busy. We arrived at 10:50.

Our experience at this restaurant was one of the worst we've had. It took an hour for our food to finally arrive, and our waitress, who started off nice, became upset when we inquired about the delay and abruptly left for the night. The assistant manager tried to smooth things over and was helpful, but unfortunately, the food was cold and all they offered were apologies. Ver carta

Rarely have I gone to a Cracker Barrel and had a bad experience. But this visit was the rare occurrence. Ordered fish and turkey with white sauce. After waiting a beat for the meals, I was told they were out of fish. Then the turkey was served with brown sauce not white. Management tried to recoup for mistakes. I’ll just chalk up this store for just having a bad hair day!

Cracker Barrel seems to have overlooked the importance of customer satisfaction. I ordered a side salad, but it was mostly just lettuce, a pile of shredded cheese, and some very large croutons. There were no mushrooms, green or red peppers, tomatoes, or cucumbers included. For the main course, I was supposed to receive two chicken breasts, but instead, I got one breast that had been sliced in half, flattened, and grilled. You've lost a customer!

I ordered chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and white gravy with extra gravy on the side. Unfortunately, there was a piece of thick plastic in the gravy, which seemed like it came from a frozen bag that had been cut open. The day manager came over to address the issue and took my meal off the bill. However, the service from our waitress was lackluster; she often disappeared when we needed refills or napkins and even served us cold biscuits. She didn't smile at all, and we had to ask for silverware. We were traveling back to Columbia from Charlotte for my husband's oncology appointment, as he has brain cancer. This place has really gone downhill. The food was never better than slightly above average, but now even Bob Evans has got them beat. Stopped going here, and all of the others around the country. I used to frequent CB when I was still a working person, but that has been a while, and they no longer produce any quality at all. The service, too, has gone downhill, and the atmosphere has never been anything to brag about, crowded and noisy. And uncomfortable, too. This is probably one of the few outlets who still doesn't have booths with tall partitions for privacy. I am not interested in hearing the hundred of other parties conversations. I don't give them a one because I reserve ones for place...

We had family come in for the holidays. We met at Cracker Barrel to eat at 5:30. We were seated within 10 minutes. Waitress took our order around 6 pm. My daughter was joining us from college. She's one hour and 30 minutes away. She arrived and we still hadn't received any food. Mind you, everyone around us has eaten and gone more than once. Our served hadn't returned after she refilled our drinks the 1st time around 6:15. It's now 7:30. We received 4 orders of our 8, and two orders were completely wrong! I came in to have a meal with my wife for Thanksgiving from Fort Mill, they told me they had a limited menu, ok no problem. Overall, the food was ok...Here 's the issue...With my order we got to go sausage biscuits and gravy to take home...when we got home I ate one of the sausages and it was so off-putting and didn 't taste at all like real sausage and the texture was horrible. So I looked at the receipt and it said Impossible Sausage (2) which is there vegetarian soy sausage ... which I have an allergy too...so I immediately threw it away...But here 's the real issue, I called to get a refund, the person on the phone said Well it 's because they were out of real sausage ...???
