"We decided to try Angelina's as a result of the phantom gourmet recommendation. Did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. We ordered the veal parm and the haddock mezzaluna as well as a side of one meatball. The mezzaluna sauce had a good balance of salt and lemon, and the shrimp wasn't rubbery. We were a bit disappointed that the menu didn't include fried calamari, in white clam sauce, usually our benchmark for considering an Italian restaurant worthy of praise. We would have preferred a different type of bread instead of thick “Wonderbread.” The noise level was high but we were told to try the quieter room the next time. We also have enough leftovers for our dinner tonight."

Luna Rossa

"Luna Rossa has been a family staple for the last couple of years for a night out. This past weekend we had a rocky start to our experience but after speaking up, the owner David was able to turn our whole experience around. Some of our family favorites are the orecchiette, pizza and their house made meatballs. This time we also got bruschetta with amazing fresh tomatoes and a pistachio cake for dessert which was delicious. Our server Domenic was top tier and we’ve had him a couple times in the past where he’s also done a phenomenal job. The food and service has always been great, but David’s ability to recognise a mistake and make it right for his customers is the reason I’ll return. Many restaurants wouldn’t have bothered saving one table on a Saturday night, but David went out of his way more than once to make sure he turned out experience around."

"We ordered three burrito bowls online, which was incredibly easy. When we arrived, there was a long line out the door, but thankfully we were able to skip it and head straight to the pick-up window. Upon checking our bag, I noticed that they had only included two containers; they forgot to prepare the third burrito bowl. However, the staff quickly and cheerfully made the third bowl for us, despite the crowds waiting to order. They also offer free chips and salsa while you wait, which was a nice touch. The burrito bowls were delicious and very affordable. It’s no surprise that there was such a long line! We will definitely be returning!"

"I got the rum runner and my fiance got a Manhattan, they were good. The bread and oil was fresh, and my fiance enjoyed his veal Parmesan. I got the carbonara special...unfortunately, the sauce was very runny and it had a very bitter after taste. I really wanted to love it, as that's my favorite Italian dish, but it missed the mark for me. Maybe I'll try something else in the future. Update- I reached out to the restaurant and they agree there was a kitchen mishap. We will be returning to try more items!"

"Ordered for pickup and sit down dinner today, although not busy for sit down, it was just the perfect atmosphere we were looking for. The food was great, service was great, the owner was great as well. One of us experienced an incident (no one’s fault), the owner and staff were very helpful in ensuring we were okay. Will definitely go back. We ordered Garlic Naan, Chicken mo-mo, and Mildly spicy Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was just right. Service: Dine in"
