Cracker Barrel - Carta

Service was terrible, well actually only one service member was bad, the hostess was rude to us and was speaking with us as she walked away. Furthermore, are fruit was spoiled and my over-medium eggs were more like raw. Not up to Cracker Barrel par elsewhere.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately our experience was marred by the lack of attention from the new waitress. She did not check on us, forgot a side dish, and did not offer refills. When she finally came to our table, it was only to bring the bill, without asking if we wanted dessert. Despite the great food, we decided to leave due to the poor service. I am giving a 4-star rating solely based on the quality of the food.

I don't think I've ever had better service at a CB. From the moment we were welcomed by the hostess to the attentive service from our waiter, everything was efficient. The dining areas, veranda, shop, and restrooms were all immaculate. I really appreciated the reasonable prices on the Christmas jewelry, and Ollie was fantastic in helping us choose gifts for our grandchildren—he's been doing this for 13 years! I would have rated this place lower, but the manager did a fantastic job of compensating us for the long wait and the fact that some of the food wasn't great. The hosting staff was excellent. When the food first arrived, it was lukewarm, but they quickly remade it and offered us a discount on the bill for the inconvenience. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. As usual, the store was enjoyable. While we waited for our table, we explored and found some great deals in the clearance section. We would definitely come back again.

I absolutely loved my experience! I dined solo and had a delightful meal, complemented by outstanding service. Everything was prepared exactly as I requested, and my to-go order was timed perfectly for when I finished eating. A little tip for anyone visiting: take a moment to check out the beautiful nature just beyond the curb towards the woods. You might spot rare birds and a giant rabbit that live in the protected area, making it a relaxing backdrop to enjoy the natural beauty surrounding the restaurant. This location is definitely one of my top three Cracker Barrels to eat at nationwide!

What has happened to the service industry? Our waitress was fantastic, but we waited an entire hour for our food, which came out in 20-minute intervals for just the three of us. One side dish arrived here, another there, and one duck came at one time, and the other duck came later. We ended up eating our meals in stages, which felt quite strange. I must say, I won’t be returning to Cracker Barrel. I truly regret it—this was a significant mistake. I had persuaded my husband that our previous bad experiences were due to takeout, and now I can't stop apologizing to him for choosing this place in the hopes of having a nice meal together. What a pleasant surprise in food quality and service compared to the past week in Myrtle Beach with its expensive and greasy fast food. On our way back, we decided to grab a bite and noticed Waffle House on the map. However, we were intrigued by the delicious-looking food pictures from Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. We took a risk and were not disappointed. Despite a wait, we enjoyed sitting outside in their southern-style rocking chairs. What a change of food quality and service after the week in Myrtle Beach with its overpriced over fried junk food. We had to stop to grab a bite on our way back and I saw Waffle House on the map but, then, we have noticed nice pictures of food from theplace called Cracker Barrel Old Country store which was weird do they serve some food at the store? This has to be the worst visit I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. The hostess was slow, slurring her words looked as though she was on something. Her coworkers were aware constantly shaking their heads at her they had to come help her seat people.Our waitress dropped a tray of dishes that resulted in pieces of the dishes flying everywhere, including into the chest of alittle girl who was maybe 5 or 6 years old.
