"Five stars! This place is incredibly affordable, and while the food is decent, the prices are unbeatable. There may not be much in the way of ambiance, but if you're hungry, you won’t mind. You can either grab your food to go or enjoy it outside at their shaded benches. The half-pound burger is really delicious, and the thin, crispy fries are a tasty addition. Compared to other burger joints, this place is a real winner. Their Chicago dogs are also quite impressive. Years ago, this was a hidden gem, but now it offers prices that are much lower than Shirls. If you’re on a budget, this is definitely the spot to hit up. Plus, you can watch the organized and clean kitchen right from the front counter!"

"Came here for lunch and our food was really good! The best part? They serve salsa verde and ceviche as a complimentary appetizer and it was so good. Little warning though, when we went, the salsa verde was SO spicy! It definitely packed a punch but probably varies with peppers that are used. I also tried the chicharrones and they were delicious! The worst part? Restaurant was a tad dirty but overall nice environment. Some of the lettuce in the salad was also brown but I just picked around it. I’d still go back though, food was good."

"So cool that we have a place like this in Waukegan, and especially fitting to take so much inspiration from Ray Bradbury 's work. First time I was in was maybe the beginning of fall last year, for one of the nights they were hosting Jazz Wave. I got a flight, and drank it while a big jazz band played. It was amazing, and the place continued to be every time I returned. I 'm not a beer guy in the slightest. But I find most of the brews here to be pretty damn good. I want to try all of them, and so far I 'm about halfway there. They obviously rotate recipes out, but I 'll take notes on any that I try. Not having the palate for brews, my thoughts range from yeah, that 's a beer to now that 's a beer. Their notes are pretty descriptive if you 're like me, and not in that wine bottle sort of way where they use frilly language. Even a beginner could pick up on the notes they point out. And so my point overall: some of the best beer around, in my humble opinion. They invite a food truck pretty regularly, always have good music playing, some old classic movies going on the TVs (which I super appreciate), and host events like live bands or trivia nights. It 's not a typical bar experience, and I love them for it. Socially-conscious and community-driven had made all the difference. And that 's about all I have to say. Thanks to Mike and Terry for bringing such a gem to Downtown Waukegan."

"Oh, man, the chipotle chicken Pannini was on the spot. And I found a sweet potato-fruit place to go now. Although a small crispy for my taste, I am still happy. The restaurant wasn't exactly what I expected. It's more like breakfast and Mexican food. I'll go back and try something else, plus my pommes. The dining area is small and it was hot, but I would still dip there. (This was 4 years ago) Update to 18. December 2021 I can't believe I wasn't in this place for so long. Who, here is another review: Again, man! So yesterday I went here for the Pannini I like, but actually ordered the wrong sandwich, it was still good. I finally tried the crepes and I have to say that I personally don't like crepes as I thought. Still good, chocolate chip was probably better. But man, I ordered my baby's chocolate chip pancakes and he ripped them. I just had a bite and was like damn, we need to get back. Definitely my favorite breakfast spot here a run for her money. And we did this today. I checked the menu to see what this lady ate yesterday, it was popular Chilaquiles there. I added onions, avocado and asada. Had it with the red sauce and I was very impressed! We'll be back next week. Well worth every cent. At least 10-15 minutes, depending on how much you order."

"ALWAYS excellent food and service! Keep up the great work! Went today 8/6/2022@ 4PM. Waitress took order, did not deliver order, left, asked others about burrito, received burrito, wrong order. No rice, beans, sour cream nor tomatoes every due to allergies.Receive a burrito with rice, beans, sour cream, tomatoes, scant meat. OK well make mistakes. Gas expensive and keep up the greatwork!"
