Cubby's - Carta

I was quite disappointed during my last visit. The sandwiches were burnt, and the Buffalo fries were soggy, served with a side of Buffalo sauce and blue cheese that didn't help much. Overall, it wasn't a great experience.

I absolutely love the Tri-tip sandwich! It's the perfect portion and always satisfies my hunger. One of Cubby's best-kept secrets is their breakfast. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should! And if you're not interested, then honestly, it's not worth my time to convince you.

A order at the counter receive at the table establishment with, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and soup. I tried the grilled cheese, Buffalo fries, and sweet potatoes fries. The grilled cheese want the greatest is ever had, but not gross... It was just okay. The sweet potatoes fries were good, and surprisingly the Buffalo fries seemed kind of bland. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience. The Blender Bowl and HuckleLala were bursting with flavor and packed with wonderful ingredients! I was amazed by how delicious and beautifully presented they were. I loved the combination of chilled vegetables atop warm rice in the Blender Bowl. As for the HuckleLala shake, it was divine and probably the best shake I’ve ever tasted!

The staff at Cubby's was quite friendly, and since we arrived before the dinner rush, there were plenty of available seats. The food was enjoyable, although a bit pricey due to the à la carte menu. Parking is conveniently situated in the garage, with the entrance directly in front of the restaurant, and they provide free 3-hour parking with validation. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3 out of 5.

We love coming to the Sugar House location. The service is great and food is even better. We appreciate how clean they try to keep it and the friendly staff. They also have high chairs for toddlers nicely spaced tables seating areas for easy access as well. My personal favorite is the Houdini paired with some rosemary fries! Can?t beat a good burger fries. I also enjoy the Cockle-Doodle-Doo with some sweet potato fries! Ver carta

Note: shortstaffed at the moment, please be patient. Tables/benches had small insects, food crumbs on the floor. Ordered at around 8p.m. Disliked that the menu was far from the register, kept having to go back and forth! The restaurant is accommodating to Dairy/Gluten allergies. We were thankful they could substitute items and remove ingredients for us. Beet salad was great w/out the cheese. The Gypsy burger was too well done, but still tasty and great ?. Must try the sweet potato fries with fry sauce!

We dined in at the Orem, Utah location. I noticed that they had reusable metal baskets being circulated however 90% of our order came out in to-go containers. Seems very wasteful not to mention a waste of money. Although I am happy that the packages were compostable. Unfortunately the utensils were plastic (why compostable packages but not utensils which are really bad for the environment?! . Nothing on their menu was actually vegan so I had to modify my order. It still came out with chicken, haha, cmon you guys. What I did order was very enjoyable though, the potential is there!

Cubby’s is consistently a great option for lunch—or any meal, really. I've tried their breakfast multiple times and enjoyed it, but I believe their true strengths lie in their other dishes. While the biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, and French toast are good, I have to say that I'm particularly fond of their salads. The buffalo chicken salad is my favorite so far. You can't go wrong with the rosemary fries, and if you're a fan of sweet potatoes, I highly recommend going for a half and half option. If you're not hesitant about adding a few extra calories, make sure to treat yourself to their Blueberry Buttermilk Shake! You won't regret it. Ver carta
