"The quality of the food is quite mediocre. The chicken rice is sticky, and the egg is rock-hard. The food is left exposed to the air and elements, and the chicken doesn’t seem to be cleaned properly. Overall, I would recommend this place only for emergencies. The cleanliness is not up to standard, and there’s too much Indian TV playing. The person at the counter should be more honest about the food being served."

Looking for the best? Then this is the place to eat! The Indian food here lifted my spirits to new heights. I can't even fathom how it could taste any better, especially at midnight. Food: 5/5. Ver carta

The combo meals are an excellent deal: for under $20, you can choose two entrees (either curries or tandoori), along with rice and naan. The service is fast at the counter, and there is ample seating available.

Absolutely amazing! I visited with my family, and everyone loved the food. We had a group of 18 people, but they accommodated us effortlessly. Our server was incredibly kind and personable! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I’m back in the city.

Food is good, the naan is freshly made with your order and the buffet style counter allows you to customize what you're getting. A little dingy, but that adds to the charm: . The upstairs seating is unconventional, but is flush with windows and has a commanding view of Lexington Ave! Ver carta

Halal food it not at its best. As visitor in Manhattan was looking for Halal Pakistani Restaurants, ever Pakistani Restaurant was uncleaned, bad, food was pre cooked, dirty, we went from Lahore Kabab to Handi, and to this Curry in a Hurry.. OMG.. Get food from the Truck in much better.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
