"My husband and I got the pork belly burnt ends and brisket with a side of Mac and cheese and corn bread. Among all of this, the Mac and cheese was the weakest but that doesn't mean much given that it was still amazing. The corn bread was incredibly moist and flavorful. The burnt ends were new to me but I loved them. Crispy on the outside with some juiciness on the inside and the brisket was mouth watering. I was sad when we are everything but my goodness... It was so filling so I didn't need more.I haven't had this good of barbecue since I went to a small barbecue place in North Carolina years ago. This made me so happy and I will absolutely be returning with my husband whenever we can. I would give this higher stars if I could because I'm so glad we have such an amazing authentic barbecue restaurant so close.Thank you to the chef(s? and everyone as well for dedicating so much time every day to watching meats for hours to ensure they turn out this stellar. You're efforts do not go unnoticed. Everyone at your restaurant rocks!!!"

"I love Coast Main! We celebrated two birthdays with friends last night, and everything was delicious. We ordered two Peat Cakes entrées, two Shrimp Scampi entrées, one free-range chicken entrée, and one Tomahawk pork chop with bacon cherry sauce. For sides, we had a wedge salad, a beet salad, a baby mesclun salad, and a garden salad—everything was fantastic! My sister tried the Crab Bisque and said it was extraordinary. For dessert, we enjoyed a peanut butter chocolate cake, banana cake, crème brûlée, vanilla ice cream, chocolate brownie cake, and cheesecake."

"I went with some friends and figured that since it was a vegetarian restaurant, they would be used to modifying things or at least know which dishes are vegan-friendly. I ordered one of the thali plates and asked whether it could be made without milk, raita, ghee, or any other dairy, and our waiter said it could. We also ordered an appetizer sampler plate to share. That was the last I saw of that waiter. Our servers for the rest of the evening were totally unhelpful, and didn 't seem to speak much English. They seemed uncertain about dairy in the samplers. My dish came out with a rice pudding that looked like it contained milk. One of the servers confirmed, and when I complained that I asked for no dairy, he told me to just try a little bit. The quality at All India in Oakland is worse, but at least I know what I can eat there."

"I initially made a reservation for four through OpenTable. I kept trying to see if I could increase the number of guests since we were visiting family, but I was unable to change the reservation to more than seven. I couldn't reach anyone by phone. Though I don't use social media, I was able to check their Facebook page without registering and discovered that the restaurant had closed and been sold! If the rest of our party hadn't decided to join us, we would have arrived at a closed restaurant on my birthday despite having a reservation. This is really disappointing. When they shut down, they should have communicated this clearly on their website and on the sites where they take reservations."

"I've been going here since I first moved to Pittsburgh when I was 16 years old, that's been 17-18 years. That was back when they were located by the ice cream shop. They've never once disappointed. I used to be able to eat one of their two footers, but can only do a foot now. I'm always sad when I'm done eating because I never want it to end. I love that the owner knows my order as soon as I walk in the door. I moved away for a few years, walked in the door without him seeing me that whole time and repeated my order back to me. All he asks me is half or whole today? I love the oldies playing, the license plates everywhere. I appreciate the tremendous service and delicious food I get everytime. I travel from Mt Washington at least every two weeks now just to get my fix. I've introduced at least two dozen people to this place and everyone loved it. They just recently suffered a tragedy, and it's very sad,this place is a family, you should show them some love."
