"During my lunch break, I wanted to order two slices of pizza, but needed to use the restroom first. I was stopped and informed that the restrooms were for dine-in customers only. I explained that I intended to order food as soon as I returned. When asked if I was dining in, I said no. He nearly refused to let me use the restroom. Frustrated, I considered leaving because I couldn’t understand why a paying customer would be denied access to the restroom. It was uncomfortable waiting for him to finally give me permission to use it. Honestly, I wish he had just told me no, because at that point, I was desperate enough that I might have just relieved myself on the floor. The purpose of working in a restaurant is to provide good customer service. If you're not a people person and can’t treat customers decently, then this isn’t the right job for you. Unfortunately, I will no longer be a loyal customer."

Haha did not expect to see so many poor reviews. They're wrong I'm right. Best NY style foldable pizza and chicken parm in the county. Highest praise available. Sincerely, Guy who moved here from Brooklyn in 2020.

Took the fam to DelVecchio’s Pizzeria lastnight to use the $100 voucher that I received from Thank Magazine and it being my first time here I had to try a little bit of everything! Had two large pizzas ?, garlic rolls , and wings ? ! My favorite part would have had to be the garlic rolls, really fresh and topped with fresh chopped garlic!

I can not believe they actually have not gone put of business with the rudest red headed guy behind the counter! He sends customers away when he does not feel like making a pizza. He never opens the doors at 11 as the hours on the door clearly stated as with the OPEN sign lit..yet he hasn't even arrived to work on time! DeVecchios you have great food but you really need to rid your baggage or just close the doors!

MUST READ- days old food given. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your time here. Ordered take out, paid $17.25 for a caprese salad that didn’t even come with basil and almost no dressing. $5.00 for a teeny cup of soup that had no broth. When we called to ask what happened with this order we were told they didn’t have basil (would have been nice to know that prior to spending the money on it) and that the reason there was no broth is because the soup was made two days ago. Wow. Super argumentative on the phone. Will not be back. DO NOT COME HERE!

I was met with an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. A redheaded individual, who claimed to be the owner, refused to take my order and mocked my accent. He even told me to go back to where I came from. His hands were filthy, and he flung debris around while shouting at me. This place should be blacklisted for its racist behavior and hygiene issues. I will never return. It’s disappointing that in 2022, instead of receiving kindness and understanding, I encountered hostility and discrimination. I considered calling the police, but it felt like it wouldn't be worth my time. If I could give a negative rating, I would. I strongly advise other Latino individuals to avoid this establishment.

Whenever I'm in Fort Lauderdale, I always make it a point to stop by DelVecchio's. While I've only tried the pizza and salad, everything on their menu looks enticing. The pizza is incredibly close to, if not the perfect example of, New York-style pizza—absolutely delicious! The staff member there may not be the most charming or friendly, which is why I didn't give it a full five stars. However, I understand that he has to juggle multiple roles, including cooking, serving, and handling the cash register, especially since there hasn't been any waitstaff during my last few visits. So while he might not have time for small talk, he does an excellent job overall. If you're in the Davie area, this... Ver carta

So three “cups” of pasta fagioli… literally no broth…Called to ask why I got a cup of boiled veggies and noodles, and I quote “when the owner makes it fresh, you get more broth, but that’s two day old soup, so that’s all that’s left.” Let that one sink in.“Caprese salad” upon opening the order at home, no basil. Called and once again “…yeah.. because we are out of basil” ??‍Even as a courtesy it would’ve been a decent thing to know. On top of that, we ended up having to add our own olive oil AND balsamic to it, for it even to be somewhat more than 3/4 of a tomato and some cheese for almost 20$$Yesterdays order was a droopy soggy cheese pizza that was apparently “fresh”41$ gone and a tough lu...

Poor service. I wanted to support a local establishment instead of a national chain so I took my 9 year old to DelVecchio’s and he wanted to dine in. We went there in 2019 and had great service but not so now. The server seemed annoyed that we decided to dine in from the start but I brushed that off. But then he went to every other table except ours. People who came after us were getting menus and drinks. After 15 minutes I walked to the counter to ask the cook for the manager and the server walks up from the back. The cook tried to apologize but the server had an even bigger attitude and said, “I’m bringing it.” No apology. Nothing. Just looking at me like I was the one with the problem. At...

"Walk in and go to the sushi bar see the variety of fresh fish. Look around at what people are eating it is likely authentic Japanese food. Recently, I was in another Japanese style restaurant and the server had no idea what tomago or hamachi kama was. He was familiar with every tempura/cream cheese/mayo heavy roll they made, however. Imasa's menu offers both tempura/cream cheese/mayo and more authentic dishes too. They also offer some Chinese style dishes like sesame balls or dumplings. Their udon noodles with African lobster tail that tastes like the Chinese food of my childhood. We're hooked on that dish. You can make up your own dish and they'll gladly oblige. We took the house roll and replaced some of the ingredients. They did such a great job that when we go more often than we expected we order a couple of them, along with the other dishes. We have leftovers, but this is our typical delicious meal:Veggie rollsCooked salmon inside and outside a roll filled with avocado, asparagus, etc.Udon noodles with lobster tail2 pieces of nigiri we mix it up4 pieces of tomago(an order of sesame balls and more tomago to go!)We use the leftovers for the next meal and are happy to eat it! The service is spot on and you don't have to flag down a server. I love their willingness to accommodate us and their execution of flavorful dishes. Yes, we're planning on returning this weekend. When we were last there, they were preparing 2 huge boats of sushi and 6 smaller boats of sushi to deliver to a party. So I think the word is out their food is fresh and tasty!"
