"Wow! I live in Annapolis, so I don 't get up to Severna Park too often. This morning, I had a dentist appointment in the little office park adjacent to this restaurant, so I decided to check it out for lunch. The interior is lovely and stylishly decorated. The seating is at different levels, separated by half walls, to maximize privacy. They start you out with a bread basket, served with olive oil with a tomato parmesan blend. That could almost have been a meal by itself. I ordered the Scallop Trucco Risotto. The menu description said scallop pieces but there was a whole scallop on top and chopped scallops throughout the dish. It was delicious. The tasty risotto also contained chopped tomatoes, and it was garnished with micro greens. I thought for a minute that I had received the larger dinner portion since I had not explicitly asked for the lunch size. When I asked the server at the end, he confirmed it was the lunch portion--a humongous amount for the price (only $17). The service was friendly and prompt, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was charming. I will definitely put this on my list for a return visit."

"Four course setting, which we chose. Very creative and absolutely the best tasting and assorted variety selection. Snacks: Blue Crab Rolls, Salmon Swirls and Lamb Meatballs Apertizer: Crayfish Dumplings, Sirloin Tartee with gumdrop Blue Cheese and homemade French fries Main Course: Tile Fish Filet, Lamb and Scallops on Sautéed Green Desert: The pear desert was delicious, the Miso Pot De Creme coconut Carmel melt in your mouth and Chocolate Crunchy Bar that had a chocolate mousse on top of marshmallows on top of chocolate cake with sprinkles of peppermint that the flavor pleasantly lingers well after the last bite. All the above was shared at our table with complete joy and can't wait for next dining experience with such great food and excellent service."

"First of all, I want to emphasize that we really like Mother's and have visited several times without any complaints. However, during our most recent visit, we experienced poor service, received the wrong items, and our food was cold. We noticed the manager attending to a few tables for other issues, so we believe this was just an unfortunate off night for the restaurant."

"Great place for some BBQ if you’re in the area. I got the 5 meat sampler which came with brisket, pulled pork, sausage, chicken and Turkey. It also came with 2 side which I got Mac n cheese and green beans. It also came with a side of cornbread. Got it all for $22. I ate well and even had a good plate to take back home with me. There was a variety of sauces to choose from. I really liked the sufferin sweet. Paired well with the white meat as it has a sweeter flavor. The soda in a mini pitcher was a cool touch and something I’ve never seen before. Service was also really good. Food took about 10 minutes to come out which isn’t bad for hitting them right about 7pm Overall very impressed with the restaurant."

"The Point is where we bring all of our friends and family when they visit. With the boats, kayakers, and paddle boarders passing right by the restaurant, the location and ambiance truly can't be beat. Despite not taking reservations, I believe this actually adds to the experience when coming to The Point, as it gives you time to grab a drink at the bar and enjoy their outdoor waiting area by the fire pits. My husband and I also like to take the little walk up the pathway to a gazebo at the end of the dock while we wait sometimes. For the food, I do believe it is very good. Their pork tacos, caesar salad, deviled eggs are outstanding and are among the items my friends and family most frequently order. I'm choosing to give 4 stars because the only area I think needs improvement is in the diversity of their menu. I wish they would change the menu up a little more frequently, and that's something I'm always hoping for each time we visit."
