Dixie Diner - Carta

First time here today and they made me feel like family within minutes. Great food, homey atmosphere, quality solid people.

We went there and were offered the buffet for breakfast. The buffet was pitiful and looked like it hadn't been freshened up in hours. Plus it was $15

Delicious food and excellent service! I highly recommend the French toast topped with peanut butter and sliced bananas, especially for those with dietary restrictions. Ver carta

Good breakfast but the Breakfast Bar is probably history. Like many others, they suffer from staffing shortages. May be time for all of us to rethink the employer employee relationship….

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a classic diner meal. As for parking, it's located right by the road, and it can get a bit cramped if someone doesn't pull in far enough. Fortunately, we didn't have any issues, but keep in mind that larger trucks might have trouble fitting in.

During our vacation, we were recommended to try this spot for breakfast, and it certainly lived up to expectations. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. The staff were fantastic as well. The only downside was an older local gentleman named John, who was sitting at the counter and going on about how much he loved Trump. It was quite distracting—he should just go home and let us enjoy our breakfast in peace. Ver carta

Came here for breakfast and was disappointed. The bacon was overcooked. The sausage links were undercooked and had a weird texture. Then we get the bill and see that all the prices were higher than the menu. There was nothing on the bill stating cash vs credit pricing and we checked on the doors and windows and nothing is stated about it either. Charging $3.06 for a cup of coffee is insane! Worst breakfast I've ever had. We've been coming here for years for the food and local Charm...It's been going down hill for a while, and today hit rock bottom. Pancakes could not be cut with a knife...the biscuits were both hot and raw...home fries were just unseasoned hunks of potatoes left on the flat top until some sucker (me) ordered them. The two waitresses were clearly doing their best...be it lack of staff or whatever, they were having a hard time keeping up. The Load of an owner or manager just sat at a table playing with his phone while diners went unattended...the Load of a Manager (or owner) was even to lazy to get off his but and answer the phone (which went unanswered)....This...

We have been to the Dixie dinner many times over the years but today was just not up to par , I am being polite. Over cooked eggs , over cooked omelet brown. As far as “ toast” if you call warm bread with butter on it then there you go, I sent it back no better the second time. Our server took our order. , brought out the “ warm bread “ for the second time and that was it. Then brought the check out laying it on the table and walked away. Didn’t ask how it was. We also found out they have a hidden charge not specified on the bill for a credit card up charge. When I went to pay the bill she “ then “ asks how it was ?
