"Amazing experience! Everything was absolutely perfect. My wife and I arrived around 11:15am just about when they open on Saturday and we had the bar to ourselves. The outdoor patio was very inviting but chose to stay indoors. The dining area is very welcoming and the lighting makes the experience intimate. Our waitress/ bartender, Briana was super cool and her vibes were radiating. She recommended a couple of our mixed drinks and checked up on several times ensuring our needs were met. I honestly can’t say one bad thing about this establishment. All of the employees we saw “looked and presented “ themselves and Toscanos very well. Our meals were presented wonderfully and the flavors were incredible. I ordered the SPICY SPAGHETTI ANCHOVIES, and it was Great. A little spicy, not to spicy. Flavors were amazing. It does not come with a protein, so Briana recommended meatballs. Great choice! My wife had the CHICKEN LINGUINE WITH GARLIC CREAM. She absolutely loved it. Great job management!"

"Not only our favorite restaurant in Sumner, but one of our all-time lovers in the counties King and Pierce. A beautiful, quiet and old-fashioned warm home like setting with friendly staff and owners who simply serve fabulous food. Breakfast, lunch or dinner are all exceptional and we never had a meal that we did not rave. We often have guests from the city that we have taken to the restaurant and also they are delighted with the service, the food and insist that we visit it again on their next trip. It is difficult to call here or have a favorite meal, because everything is good, but if I had to call one thing, it would be the Prime Rib-Dip sandwich, which (in our opinion) is without equal everywhere! To assure yourself of a delicious meal, remember to make reservations so that you will not be disappointed upon arrival to find the restaurant is fully booked."

"We chose to sit in a booth for the comfort of our group, but the only available booth still needed to be cleared. Despite this, we were happy to wait. Unfortunately, the server walked past us and greeted other customers who arrived after us before finally coming to our table. She rudely pointed out that there were other clean tables available. When I explained that we preferred a booth, she walked away without saying anything else. Feeling disrespected, we decided to leave. I usually don't complain about restaurant service, as I know it can be a tough job, but in this case the staff was clearly rude. This is a rare occurrence for me. We then visited The Rose, where we were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The difference in service was remarkable. We will not be returning to the Meridian Cafe."

"I’ve been eating at this place for years, but hadn’t in several months. Today I took my kids here and the quality of food and attention to detail was beyond subpar! We ordered two chicken breast teriyaki orders and a Katsu meal. The Yaki was awful! I’d assume the chicken had been sitting around all day and was overcooked! My daughter asked if the chicken was fake! The Katsu was rock hard. More disappointing than the quality of the food was the ladies interaction with other customers. This individual was rude to many customers and acted like everyone was an inconvenience. There are many teriyaki options in the area, this restaurant either doesn’t realize this or has become complacent to the point they don’t care! What was once a good place no longer exists!"
