This is a wonderfully cozy spot for dinner! The food and service were exceptional! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I visited this restaurant to celebrate our 16th anniversary and absolutely loved everything about it. The omakase and prix fixe options were fantastic. We also ordered udon, and the mildly spicy version was just perfect.

DOMODOMO in NYC, honored with the Bib Gourmand distinction from Michelin, truly stands out with its sushi hand roll course. Avoid ordering the omakase here; you’ll likely regret it. The $102 omakase experience was disappointing in terms of quality and definitely not worth the price. I could get better sushi elsewhere for under $40 per person. Take my advice and enjoy omakase at a different restaurant. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but I wouldn’t have high expectations for this place.

I absolutely love the omakase at this restaurant. Every piece is expertly crafted and delicious. They kick off the experience with miso soup and a salmon dish. The drinks are also quite good. Although the service was a little slow, I still enjoyed my time here thanks to the delightful fish and unique rolls. The ambiance isn't anything extraordinary, but the food definitely makes it worthwhile.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The interior was charming, and the food was the best I've tasted in New York. Everything was delicious, and the explanations about the dishes were very informative. Multiple servers and managers attended to our table, showing genuine care and providing excellent service. I give this restaurant a perfect 5 stars across the board. I enjoyed the Omakase experience and every dish was exquisite, just the right balance of flavors. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it might be the desserts, but honestly, that's not really the main attraction here! The sake menu is fantastic too. This place is ideal for a special night out, whether with friends or for a date. Food: 5/5.

If you do decide to visit, I would recommend the grilled octopus and the matcha ice cream, as those stood out. Service was excellent overall, although the chef preparing the Domokase did not engage with us at all; he simply prepared the food and handed it to us without any greeting. That was a bit disappointing. For me, I won't be coming back. There are definitely better spots for sashimi and Omakase in the city.

The sushi—particularly the Hand Rolls and Nigiri—was incredibly fresh, and the Tuna Cones offered an unexpected treat. We were delighted by the Hot Udon with Washu Beef, which delivered a delightful kick of flavor, while the Miso Black Cod and Garlic Bacon Fried Rice with Onsen Egg were equally satisfying. To top it all off, the Documber cocktail provided a refreshing accent to our meal, and we simply couldn’t resist the Black Sesame Panna Cotta for dessert. It was delicious and perfectly portioned, a wonderful way to end our culinary journey, especially after the generous main courses.
