Don Camaron Seafood

The stuffed mushrooms were pretty bad, the steak overcooked even though I asked for rare. We didn't get our salads at all. However the seasoning on the both steak and shrimp was good.Food: 2/5

Talk about a sleeper! It's an unassuming little place. Interior is beautifully done. The Seafood! OMG! Delicious! Paco's Combination of Shrimp, Chicken and Steak was spot on....and those Potatoes! Will be going back for sure!

stuffed mushrooms really had no taste except the crab stuff. they were not cooked enough. ribeye was only 1/4 inch thick a boiled over a hard one. the best part of the dinner was the salat in the kartoffels! I'm sorry, would not recommend it or go back. Ver carta

Stopped here for dinner. The food had good taste and texture. The price for the food was average. I would recommend this restaurant if you can't decide between Mexican and seafood, because you can get both. Staff was very attentive and friendly. A pleasant dining experience.Food: 4/5

Should have turned away when we only seen 6 cars in the parking lot at 7 o'clock p.m ... when we ordered our food that was on the menu . we was getting stuff that wasn't even what we had ordered . crab cakes was under cooked.. one tiny peice of Alaskan white fish it was terrible.. the only thing that was good was the baby shrimp and the hushpuppies would not recommend to anyone very bad choice for a dinner date with my husband

Seated quickly. Music very loud, said they were having a party. Salad was fresh lettuce ,hush puppies were good. Potatoes very greasy, scallops did not look to be cooked well( they were the color of canned pears)not sure what type of seasoning that was on the shrimp and scallops but it was not very good. Not sure that the steak was a ribeye it was disappointing. But the owner was kind enough to remove the price of the steak from the bill. Once again fooled by google reviews. This is definitely not the best place in Roanoke for seafood. will not return. Ver carta

A smiling, satisfied couple passed me as I pulled in to Don Camaron parking lot. I smelled good aromas walking inside. A happy Door Dash driver was collecting his delivery. Se hablá español! Everyone was friendly and I was promptly seated. My order was taken quickly and food came in good time. The cod was plump, flaky, well seasoned and the shrimp juicy (not jumbo, though). My salad was basic, fine with me! I didn't recognize the brand of coffee but it was fresh, hot and good! Lunch specials are decent, portions large Im trying the tacos, or salmon next time!

I don’t usually ever write a review but I’m doing this to hope for a better experience. I don’t even know where to start. I ordered a $9 margarita that tasted like juice and did absolutely nothing for me. The food was great but I honestly could have cooked it at home, so I feel like it’s a tad overpriced for the taste. The catfish I had was a bit bland and undercooked. I’m not necessarily complaining. I just wish I could say I genuinely enjoyed my meal. I had my family/ children with me but the restaurant was so dead quiet I felt like we were maybe disturbing others. Maybe some music or SOMETHING would make it feel different (if that makes sense). Anyways… with a few improvements this restau...
