Dopo la Spiaggia is always our first stop when we come to Sag Harbor! The food is amazing: freshly prepared (the pasta!!! ; the staff is warm and engaging and the setting is welcoming! Win. Win. Win. Ver carta

Have dined at Dopo often .. and obviously like it Last night was a mess . The noise level was absurd . Frankly nigh intolerable . My guest and I had to shout at each other . It became a farce Service fine Food so so. My veal was tiny whereas my partners chicken Milanese was so vast it was intimidating . She took three quarters home . My tiramisu was acceptable but a good tiramisu is very light . This most certainly wasn’t

There ended up being 10 of us. The hostess most gracious to combine 2 reservations and put us in large outdoor covered area adjacent to main dining room. Waitress was professional and lovely. It took a very long time to get our entrees. Over 1 hour+. Food was good but 3 of our diners did not enjoy the clams in the linguini. We were puzzled why we could not give 5 credit cards to split the bill, although we were alerted to it on the menu before we ordered. We had a good time together but the restaurant was challenged to deliver. Ver carta
