"Average overpriced food. Atmosphere is good and gives the diner feel, but dang that food just wasn't up to part. I had a cheeseburger and fries, which should be difficult for a diner to screw up. The cheeseburger was tasteless and overcooked. The root beer float was decent but how do you screw something like that up? Felt rushed too while there. Price was around $20 for the cheeseburger and fries, and something like $10 for the root beer float. Plus tip and tax, came close to $40 for lunch."

Food was good, nothing spectacular but good. The place has a nice vibe though, cozy. Pastrami was solid, a subtler taste and great pickles.

A great place for breakfast or lunch. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was impressively quick without making me feel like I was being rushed out the door.

I love EJ?s, it?s a great classic diner and a mainstay of the neighborhood. You can rely on them to have the classic diner food, give good prompt service and have a that quintessential diner atmosphere.

Portions were good, service was fantastic. However the food lacked flavor and were not worth the price. For example the Mac and cheese (shown in the picture) as an appetizer cost 12 dollars but looked and tasted worse than Kraft's Mac and cheese. Ver carta

I had a great experience! I was initially heading to McDonald's but decided to check this place out instead and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere looked inviting, and my server was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I'm really grateful I chose to come here instead of McDonald's!

Went on a Monday for a late lunch by myself. I was promptly seated at a table near the window. Service was attentive but not over bearing. I ordered the Greek chicken salad w a beer. There was a generous amount of chicken. The chicken was fresh, grilled and seasoned perfectly. The place was a little run down but it added charm. The people who work here seem to like their job says a lot without saying anything, abt the mgt. I would definitely go back.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
