"We shared a chicken dinner that came with fries and coleslaw. The chicken was served hot and juicy, perfectly seasoned without too much batter. The fries were on the softer side, which I enjoyed, but if you prefer them crispy, it’s worth asking for them that way. The coleslaw was sweet and creamy, which I loved, but if that doesn't suit your taste, you might want to look at other side options. Grandma ordered a half chef salad that was enormous! It had a generous amount of meat and cheese, and the lettuce was fresh. She said it was very good, especially enjoying the poppy seed dressing. Our son had a chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese and felt it could have used a bit more batter. However, he did find the bun to be delicious. Overall, we were really glad we stopped here and will definitely add it to our list of places to visit on our drive back to Atlanta to see our daughter."

"It honestly surprises me that this chain didn't out due subway. Everything I have ordered has been good on a fast food scale. They put way more meat on their subs then subway. You also don't get charged for it. If a blimpie is within driving range for you I would recommend blimpie. This store has very friendly staff and quick service."

"When we stood on a corner in Downtown Wapakoneta looking lost and confused on a Sunday afternoon, an older gentleman with a cane approached and asked if we needed help. We replied that we were looking for food but weren 't sure which direction to walk. He gave us information and directions to four different restaurants. J Marie 's was one of those four, and the wood-fired food called to us. It was just a short walk from where we were. My husband and I ordered what we thought were personal sized pizzas (we had leftovers!!! and our son got the bison burger with red potatoes after hearing two recommendations from local people (and seeing the burger delivered to the guy at the next table . We also added the sausage stuffed mushrooms. The food was delicious and it was all prepared in one of two wood-fired brick ovens (seen behind Michael 's head in the one picture . I want to return to try some of the other wood-fired items on the menu. Staff was very attentive during our visit. Several people checked on us throughout the course of the meal. Great personalities, too. They made us feel welcome."

"A friend and I had dinner here on our way back home from a ten-day vacation. We are both familiar with the food offerings at Captain D's, and we have eaten at this location a few times over the years. The food was good, but the service was a bit lacking. The crew seemed to be a bit disorganized. Granted, we stopped here 45 minutes before closing. They seemed more interested in ushering everyone out the door than serving food. Wrong food was delivered to our table, and while emptying the tea container, they allowed it to overflow all over the counter and onto the floor. I had to call their attention to that as I was waiting for my change. Normally, this is not our experience, but tonight was different. Hopefully, this was a fluke. The restrooms were in good condition."

"Great ice cream. Love the Bannana Fudge Royal. And Dole Whip. I think the cherry is the best. I mean, how often are fat guys wrong with something that tastes as a devine like the Cherry Dole whip. Lol. But seriously, it's worth a lot to visit. And the employees are always very pleasant. And the owners very grateful and pleasant for those who there wonderful decor graxe."
