"The customer service is just lacking here. I went in one morning and ordered a bacon egg and cheese. Breakfast sandwich on a bagel. After waiting, probably around 15 minutes for the sandwich it came out and was missing the bacon and was on a croissant instead of a bagel. When I pointed this out to the staff, they seemed annoyed by it. And when they went to remake the sandwich, they told me that I needed to pay an additional $2 to upgrade the sandwich to a bagel sandwich after I had already paid because they “ didn’t ring it in as a bagel sandwich”. So after about 25 minutes from the initial order, I finally received the correct sandwich. As I’m leaving, I give the incorrect sandwich I had received originally back to the staff and I get a dirty look from the cashier for not wanting to keep the sandwich. While the food was good, the lack of customer service and just unfriendly attitude of the staff makes it hard to ever want to go back here. "Please update your website. 2nd time we've arrived when open only to learn you weren't open until later. Or on our 2nd visit, not yet open and fixing to feed all the schools sports teams so limited seating. Website states you open at 1130 but weren't open until noon posted on your door with your team schedule. We were random family of 12 converging on your business as we've done often in the past. Was informed that you'd only have room for 10 and our order would be bumped for the teams orders. All understandable but maybe somehow conveyed . You were also closing early for a private function. You're our favorite place to meet up for family in Rainier, Portland, Damascus and Kaiser so running into this obstacle really set us adrift."

"I was greeted by Megan, the bartender, on the bar side of the establishment. Very friendly : . I moved over to the food side to meet my friends for lunch. Our waitress, Precious, was also friendly and bubbly! Our meal came out in about 15 minutes in a busy time at lunch... very impressive! The meal was very flavorful and had a good amount of spice, along with the peanut sauce, which was awesome! I will definitely go back there..."

"I wish Cutsforth could be my neighborhood market. They truly have everything I want and more! Shopping there is a pleasure; it gives off a hometown vibe and isn't overwhelming in size, despite having an excellent selection of products. Their variety of spices and teas is impressive. It's incredibly affordable, as they offer spice refills that are environmentally friendly—no need to keep buying new containers. My husband is a huge fan of Cutsforth's pizza, and he enjoys it with nearly every meal. Their baked goods are top-notch, and I appreciate the less common flours available for bread-making. They carry the best milk brand in Oregon, Alpenrose—make sure to try the chocolate milk! The donuts and fritters are neighborhood favorites, and the entire bakery section looks fantastic. They even have a coffee bar with warm cookies. They feature local Pudd'n River Chocolates, and their gift shop is one of the best I've seen in any grocery store, complete with houseplants. Their wine selection is extensive, and I've found plenty of prepared foods for quick meals on the go. The checkout staff was incredibly friendly. The prices are reasonable, but I’d gladly pay more for such a sophisticated selection of foods, especially given their focus on local products."
