Emmy's Time Out Tavern

Great time every time. We have been going to this restaurant for years. We have never been disappointed. I believe if you have issues with great food at a great price try some place in Orlando.

Service and Staff and Owner are excellent. The Prime Rib is OK but over rated. It was a little tough and not much flavor. Vegetable beef soup is very salty ! The bread , and cold salads sampler was good. Maybe I will try a steak next time we go.

Funky but good food.. I like places with personality and Emmy's has it. Hand prepared food done well. Pan fried fish in a light batter. Authentic German cooking. I have traveled Europe many times and this reminds me og those times. How many places have Warsteiner on tap? Won't break the check book either. Great value. Ver carta

My wife and I ate here on a Saturday evening. The food was good. We both had the Jagerschnitzel with red cabbage and German potatoes. It was crowded but we did not have to wait for a table since it was just the two of us. The atmosphere is lacking but the food is good. They have restricted hours so make sure they are open before you go.

BEST STEAK I EVER HAD!!. I am a well traveled individual and have eaten all over the world. I went to Emmy's a bit sceptical I ordered what is called a RUMP STEAK. This steak was about 3 inches thick, cooked to perfection, smothered in so many mushroom and onions at first you cant even see the meat. It was so good I wanted to lick my plate. MUST TRY you cant go wrong. Will visit every time I'm in town. Emmy is a delight!! :

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!. The draw here is not the ambience but the good food at reasonable prices. The prime rib is to die for (my husband won't order it out anywhere else). My favorite is the pan-fried Grouper. My sister and her husband come up from Orlando for the German food, which is out of this world! Matt check out McDonalds n ext time! Awesome!. This place is amazing. I don't get a chance to visit much, but when I do it's on a Thursday! They have prime rib or grouper on Thursdays and both are to die for. The grouper falls off your plate it's so big. Love, love, love this place! And the tomato salad is sooo great, but I always choose half and half cucumber and tomato salad because the cucumber salad is great too. Not too fond of the soup, but everything else makes up for it by far!

First trip tonight while they were celebrating Oktoberfest. I suspect that the menu was pared down for the evening, as there was a pretty narrow selection. I found the potato pancakes, while pretty greasy, to have a great flavor. Next was the vegetable beef soup OMG it was wonderful. Next came the salad I had the cucumbers. Icy cold on a cold plate. Nice and creamy and dilly. Num. I had the sauerbraten, which I have to say was just so so. Wife had the pork Jaegerschnitzel and that was a huge cutlet fried nice and crispy and with a wonderful mushroom gravy. Always a good time. We have been going to Emmys for about 7 years now, and it is still one of the best places in this area to eat. The German potatoes and the fresh salad are authentic and great. The atmosphere is not pretentious, but is comfortable. And the staff is always friendly and outgoing. But the best thing about Emmy's is their Prime Rib. It may be the best I've ever had consistently, and I have ordered prime rib in at least 15 states across the country. About the only thing I can say that they could do better is they could have a special on their beer and drinks. But the rest of the menu items are very reasonably price. Hope they don't change like some places and start scrimping on... Ver carta
