"Excellent food. Everything is fresh, well seasoned and perfectly paired to order. The staff is pleasant, polite and accommodating, without being "beautiful". The atmosphere is what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. Not really a 'romantic' friendly setting, but perfect for an afternoon together or casual dinner. The restaurant is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The margaritas are amazing and it is worth stopping only for those. The food is slightly expensive for Mexicans, but the quality and portion is there, so it is worth the money. Best Mexican restaurant in both valleys. Very recommended"

"Went and had lunch there with some coworkers. The fried mozzarella was excellent, the chicken tenders appetizer. Both the barbecue and the buffalo sauce were very good. I had the Vermont cheddar burger, and I swapped out the turkey for the beef, no problems whatsoever to swap it out. The burger was huge! I opted for a side salad instead, but with all the other food I couldn't finish it all. All. I ended up bringing it home for leftovers. Overall the food was excellent. I would go back there again."

"The food is really good and comes out decently quickly, but it seems they're not ready to attend many people at once. We were there a Sunday evening and all the tables were full (that's about 40 people) they only had 2 waiters attending the tables andthey forgot to take orders, you had to ask them for things twice and they kept forgetting to come back. If they add a couplemore people the place will be excelente!"

"Visited on a Sunday and probably during their prime time over the weekend. It is certainly very popular and quite busy with having to scavenger for parking spots against everyone who had the same idea as you that day. The waiting line was out the door and handled by a couple of employees for seating and promptness. Dont be ready to sit down unles you're entire party is present they like to make sure they are serving full parties ready to go, only had to wait about 15 mins to be seated. Wait staff very attentive for drinks and orders which came out quickly. The food was good and worth the visit. It's so busy on weekends that in order to accommodate everyone and their schedule, you feel a little rushed to eat snd go.... but the weekend traffic is definitely more volume and perhaps weekdays is more calming."

"Knowing I wanted to try this place, I decided yesterday for lunch, would be great! My 13 year old daughter was not wanting to go. I offered to let her stay in the car, knowing sh wouldn't. Walking in, we were greeted by Tanya, who was wonderful! The atmosphere is so welcoming! The decor is beautiful and homey. My daughter ordered the chicken quesadilla with a side of potato salad. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken, over tomato orzo (I don't like lemon chicken...I felt a need to try this , with a cup of the soup of the day, beef vegetable (something I never order or buy! . My daughter and I loved the soup so much, we ordered another to go! Our meals were amazing! Everything if fresh from scratch/homemade! Something to keep in mind, tell them the amount of tip you would like to add, prior to them processing your debit/credit. I didn't know this prior to paying and felt awful. So, to rectify this, we went back for dinner and brought more people! I had the Philly steak and cheese omelette (breakfast served all day! , with home fries and rye toast (homemade bread! . Daughter had a Caesar salad and cup of the soup again. Mom and her boyfriend ordered the meatloaf special served with mashed potato and carrots. They too were incredibly impressed and will be back! Mark's is a true gem in Thompsonville!"
