"During weekdays the food quality is very good. However on the weekends it is often not as good and does not have the quality you expect from a hotel restaurant. Some items such as steak salad seem not freshly cooked during the weekends and burgers are often overdone and dry."

Good food, consistent and excellent service (except when the use the robot that's not ready for service). The temperature is a bit cold.

Food good. Service sucked. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced service this bad. And unfortunately it’s the only restaurant attached to the hotel. Ver carta

Bro in the back can't cook fish chips. My fish was cool in the middle, like 75°F cool and not firm. This is not safe for consumption and should be at least 165°F.

Great for coffee with friends or a full meal. Located inside the UH Hilton on the 1st floor. Directly across the street from the UH Student Center South. Enjoy Bon Appetit! ???

Servers were slammed and we waited >45 min for order. Yes, it was busy, but a professional establishment will handle it and not use as an excuse. On a food note, french fries used to be good but are now fat and mushy. Ver carta

Once again the food was great. We have tried different entrees every time we come and have never been disappointed. The shrimp pasta, just the right amount of cajun, and the turkey panini were so yummy! Can't wait to see what you'll serve next!!

Eric's restaurant is located within UH Hilton, It's such a cool place. I can say they are very friendly and welcoming. One thing that stood out for me was that robot coming to deliver food ?.They have a bar there too where you can order your drinks, juice included.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
